Drawing on Hindu and Islamic architectural styles, the Gateway of India sits on the waterfront of southern Mumbai, and since 1924 was the first thing visitors to the city would see when arriving by boat.
Formerly known as Victoria Terminus, CST is one of the most beautiful railway stations in India.
One of the city’s largest wholesale fruit, vegetable, and meat market— and the first building in India to get electricity!

This is the historical Hindu temple that Mumbai was named after! We’ll take a break from our bikes and have a look inside.
Cycle 3km along the Arabian Sea on the Marine Drive promenade. Typically packed with friends and couples in the evenings, Marine Drive is empty in the morning and just waiting to be cycled!
We experience the chaos of this vibrant market area, including the fishermen unloading fish and women and children cleaning the shrimp

Overview
Sleeping bodies dot the pathways, devotees perform their morning puja (prayer), and early birds head out for a jog before the heat of the day arrives. This is Mumbai as you have never seen it before: calm and peaceful.
While the rest of the city is only just beginning to wake up, we take advantage of the empty streets and cool air to explore South Mumbai by cycle. As we wind our way through the back lanes, well visit must-see Mumbai sights like the Gateway of India and CSMT Station as well as some hidden gems like Sassoon Dock and Bombay Panjrapole (cow sanctuary).
At the end of the tour, well stop for a well-deserved South Indian breakfast ofdosa, idli, upma, and much more.

In every city I visit, I go on a bicycle tour because I simply love to ride a bicycle. The tour is good, but in my opinion it could have been a shade better. The bikes are in good condition.

Great tour as the city awakes. Went to places I would never have gone ordinarily. Very informative plus great chai break!
-
Interesting and a great way to see Mumbai before the city gets too busy & before the heat of the day gets too much. Informative guide Chathan looked after us and we finished with a great breakfast. Highly recommended
-
Great way to explore the city in the morning before the noise, vehicles, the crowd and not at least the warmth. Super nice duo who managed the tour. Interesting stops and great fellow bikers. Just do it!

Incredible bicycle tour - do not miss. This NGO works within the slums to provide employment and opportunity which is amazing cause. The tour itself could not have been better and exploring by bike is truly a unique way of seeing the city from a local’s perspective and seeing parts of the city a car can’t get to. Some may think it feels unsafe due to traffic, but I felt totally safe throughout thanks to the expert guiding and earlier start meaning less traffic! Do not miss this tour!

On the bikes at dawn, at which time the streets are calm. Visit many key points as the city stirs. Guides wonderful, knowledgeable, with a safety emphasis . The morning is capped off with a fine breakfast, allowing one to share stories and travel intelligence with fellow riders . This is a fine value; I don’t think there is a better experience to introduce Mumbai to the maiden visitor.

Seeing Colaba by bike in the morning was a great experience. The guide was very knowledgeable, and the stops were a visual feast.

Best way to feel Mumbai. It starts a bit early but it is absolutely worth it. It allows to see lots in very short time. The fact that it has at least two staff it gives you confidence to cycle

Incredible way to experience the real Mumbai. You will cycle with two locals throughout the main landmarks and amongst the city streets. Keep in mind this city is chaotic and you need to be aware of your surroundings! Highly recommended if you are an active person.
