Know More about this tour

Beginning from the Central Train Station, your guide will bike you around the best routes, tell you interesting stories and the perfect spots to stop for a quick drink. Start in Royal Munich where lies the great neo-classical plaza, Konigsplatz (Munich's Acropolis), and a few minutes from there is the equally imposing Odeonsplatz. Both are the legacy of King Ludwig I of Bavaria, a 19th century monarch who set out to put Munich on the map as a center of European royal grandeur. He dreamed of building a great city of Kings. He actually built a great city of cyclists!

From Odeonsplatz, you'll cycle through the picturesque royal gardens and on into the truly magnificent Englischer Garten, Europe's largest city park. In the midst of this, you'll stop at the famous Chinese Tower beer garden for refreshments. Then cruise along the lovely banks of the river Isar, which will finally lead you back into the heart of Munich's beautiful Old Town.

The charming old pedestrianized medieval streets that encircle Marienplatz wind around churches and markets and cafes and are a cyclist's haven. Frequent stops will be made on this relaxed and fun tour and your guide is there to give you their inside knowledge, tips and advice. Want to meet other visitors, see the city together and have a laugh? This is the way to do it.

We took the English tour with Dani. She was awesome to put it mildly. You learn in depth, the history, culture, and basis of the legal system. The ride is easy with many stops to discuss buildings and sites, with the historical significance not shared in a self guided tour. After a day of rest, this tour should be at the top of your list for day 2. Dani is a 5 star question.

We had scheduled a bike tour of Munich but due to the weather it was switched to a walking tour which we were perfectly good with. Windy, cold, with a chance of rain - much easier to duck into a beer hall on foot. Our Guide, Anna, was very knowledgeable about the city and very entertaining. Great tour!

Our guide, Erwin, was great. He was knowledgeable, fun, engaging and held our attention well. We were able to see areas of Munich we wouldn’t have gone to on foot. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Verena, was very informative about Munich. She was able to teach us things about Munich that we didn't read or experience already. She is very courteous and made this bike tour very enjoyable.

This tour should have been a highlight but it wasn't. The tour group was FAR to large and we spent a great deal of time just trying to get the group across the road at the traffic lights. I had made a list of things I wanted to see in Munich and I probably rode by them, but we didn't have a way to communicate and the group was so large that you couldn't hear very well in this busy city. I think our guide tried, but I blame the tour company for packing far too many people in the group.

Despite the rain we encountered during most of our bike tour we really enjoyed it. Our guide gave a great talk on the history of Munich and pointed out spots we probably wouldn't have visited on our own.

This tour was amazing. Danny was very careful with us on the bikes and very knowledgeable about the area.
Had a really great time and it’s true you don’t really forget how to ride a bike.
