Know More about this tour

Beginning from the Central Train Station, your guide will bike you around the best routes, tell you interesting stories and the perfect spots to stop for a quick drink. Start in Royal Munich where lies the great neo-classical plaza, Konigsplatz (Munich's Acropolis), and a few minutes from there is the equally imposing Odeonsplatz. Both are the legacy of King Ludwig I of Bavaria, a 19th century monarch who set out to put Munich on the map as a center of European royal grandeur. He dreamed of building a great city of Kings. He actually built a great city of cyclists!

From Odeonsplatz, you'll cycle through the picturesque royal gardens and on into the truly magnificent Englischer Garten, Europe's largest city park. In the midst of this, you'll stop at the famous Chinese Tower beer garden for refreshments. Then cruise along the lovely banks of the river Isar, which will finally lead you back into the heart of Munich's beautiful Old Town.

The charming old pedestrianized medieval streets that encircle Marienplatz wind around churches and markets and cafes and are a cyclist's haven. Frequent stops will be made on this relaxed and fun tour and your guide is there to give you their inside knowledge, tips and advice. Want to meet other visitors, see the city together and have a laugh? This is the way to do it.

Michelle was an incredible guide! It was raining and we had wet emotional kids, but Michelle was patient, cheerful, and clearly had expertise in the sites and history which she was able to adapt seamlessly for the circumstances. We were so grateful to have been with her on this ride! The ride itself was also wonderful and remains a highlight of our trip to Munich.

Did the English bike tour with Steven that started at 10a and had a fantastic time. He's a personable and very informative guide. We spent 3 hours with Steven in mid-October Munich and the weather was fortunately agreeable, neither too warm nor too cold. He made us all feel very gemütlich.

Great bike tour of the beautiful city of Munich. Our tour guide, Mat, was a delight. He knows his German history so well and gave us a great insight to the sites around Munich. Very organized and smooth. I love bike tours of cities as it is great exercise and you get so much more than sitting on a bus.

My seven friends and I had a great time on this bike tour despite the pouring rain. Our guide Stevo was entertaining and very knowledgeable about Munich history and architecture. I highly recommend this tour.

Great bike tour! Dani was a fabulous host, providing just the right amount of history and making it interesting. The pace of cycling was also just right, with plenty of stops and toilet stops too. My bike was great - very easy to ride! Dani managed the group well, and it was a friendly, informative and relaxed experience.

Loved the tour and how much we saw of Munich. The city and course we took was not very hard to bike. It is more about seeing the city and less about an informational tour

I was not very impressed with our guide. Some of her English was difficult to understand, she rambled quite a lot and did not keep the group together on the road. (I Recognize this is a difficult task) Talking with folks who knew Munich, she skipped a lot of the major attractions as well.
