The tour was exellently run from start to finish. The driver was very curtious and on time. Lunch was provided and was very fresh. The guide in both camps (same person) was very knowledgeable, and respectful. Obviously this is a tour of an historic site where horrendous,sub-human and barbaric acts occured and it was treated that way. Something everyone should see, young and old.
Would recommend this tour as a way of seeing the highlights of Auschwitz when staying in the centre of Krakow. The bus driver was very organised and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The only slight inconvenience we were picked up much earlier than the time slot selected, and at a stop that was further away from our accommodation. That said, the bus driver did turn up on time.
This was a very educational visit and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative.
Minor criticism is that lunch was rushed as packages were provided to guests prior to transit from Auschwitz to Birkenau giving you less than 5 minutes to enjoy tasty food provided.
This tour was well organised from beginning to end. Pick up on time, nice friendly driver. Excellent tour guide around the museum. Lunch box was included, very good and umbrellas provided. Would recommend wrapping up very warm and water proof footwear if you visit in the winter, very exposed area,so very cold. I highly recommend this tour.
Extremely well organised. Our driver was courteous and charming and our tour guide was informative and extremely sensitive. He was lovely . The packed lunch provided was delicious with beautifully made rolls. Fantastic experience all round.
Our driver Tom was awesome. Picked us up right on time and was extremely flexible and informative. The tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau was extremely moving and the guide was also extremely informative. I would recommend the private driver/tour for all groups large and small.
Tour was good but i would not book through as they advised lunch was included. On the day, the bus driver advised this was not the case (all 7 people on the bus thought they had paid for lunch).
We booked a last minute trip to Auschwitz because our other local tour operator canceled our first and our second booking. They said the museum was closed, which wasn't true.
Viator arranged a very quick and simple booking for us. The one picking us op, Martin and the bus driver were both very kind. The museum guide, Mihou I believe he was called, was very nice and told us a lot during the tour. He wasn't a native speaker, but he did his very best to speak English to the best of his ability. We were lucky as there were barely any visitors due to an event for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the camp. It is a shocking experience, though the world has to know about the atrocities that took place.
It was an interesting journey of the past that will make us wonder the cruelty of the Germans. Praying for the victims that their souls rest in peace.
A really good trip. Got picked up at 5:55am and arrived at Auschwitz 1 at about 7:30. Gentleman doing the tour was very informative. It said lunch included but we never received our lunch so I’m glad we had snacks packed or would have been starving. Arrived back at one of the drop off points about 12:30pm
