Know More about this tour

This high-quality 3,5-hour tour offers the once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore the fascinating life of empress Elisabeth of Austria, as it was never revealed before. The tour will begin at your accommodation, where your guide picks you up with a private vehicle and brings you to the famous boulevard around the historical center of Vienna, called Ringstrasse. During the panoramic ride, you will be able to catch the sights of the Parliament building, the Town Hall, the National Theater and the Vienna state opera. At the Vienna State Opera, you will start a walk and stroll around the city center. Initially, you will walk by the Imperial crypt, the final resting place of empress Sisi. After that, you will continue to St Stephans Catedral, the most famous religious building in Vienna, and enjoy the stunning views of Hofburg, the former imperial palace, and Michaelerplatz. Your tour will then lead to the stables of the elegant Lipizzaner Horses. After a short break, you will enter Augustinian church, where the empress got married to Franz Josef. In the picturesque Volksgarten, you will be able to take some pictures of the Sisi statue and breathe in the smell of beautiful roses. Your guide will then accompany you to the Sisi Museum, where you will get to know Sisi from the early age to death and discover the mystery behind the Sisi myth. With more than 300 objects on display, the museum gives the insight on the most personal parts of her life. When the visit to the museum is finished, you will go to Demel, one of the most famous coffee houses in Vienna and Sisi's favourite one as well. Since this is the last stop of your tour, the guide will leave you there: that way you can take as much time as you want and indulge in a cup of coffee/tea and a piece of cake (included in the price).
