James was excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for a knowledgeable driver for the national park safari.

Anyone who seeking a full day of adventure with Africa's big 5 needs to book this tour with James. I've heard of people going on safari for 2-3 days and not being able to spot any big cats due to a variety of factors -- weather, noisy safari vans and tourists etc. Having a driver that really knows the ins and outs of the park you will be visiting is a must in order to maximize your experience and see as many animals as possible. James obviously knew the best times and strategic locations for sightings because we spotted giraffe, zebra, imbala, gazelle and even lions within less than 2 hours!! Safari trucks roaming around the park keep communication with eachother via walkie talkie and we were definitely the first ones at a majority of sightings, it left the other safari tourist vans trying to keep up with us!! At one point the large male lion even made his way walking right by our van. An absolutely amazing day to remember forever. The trifecta of the Nairobi National Park, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and Karen Blixon Giraffe Center is an excellent tour for first time safari goers, people visiting Africa for the first time, or people who don't have time/money to do the 3-day Maasai Mara safari. The only other animals I didn't get to see were cheetah and leopard but from my understanding you really need to go to Maasai Mara or Serengeti for that. I, for one, had a fabulous experience but I do believe most of that success lay with: a) My driver and his knowledge of the area b) Luck. It rained the night before so the animals were more likely to come out rather than stay in the bush Pro Tip: October-November is a great time to book your trip, I am a solo traveler and ended up having the whole safari van to myself. If you prefer more of an intimate private tour rather than sharing a van with multiple people and jostling with eachother for the best wildlife photos then this is for you. However if you like socializing with other fellow travelers then being part of a group has its advantages. Be prepared to wake up very early for these tours because the animals like to come out in the mornings! My driver picked me up from my accommodation at 5:40am. Don't complain, it's totally worth it!! 5/5 stars for James

It was a great experience. Visiting Nairobi national park was one of my best experiences ever. Don't miss it

The venues were very good and enjoyable. The driver (James) didn’t meet my standards, he was more worried about his own needs instead that of his customers.

I never felt safe with the diver….. The car was dirty and old ant the a/c didn’t work . I reserve a group tour because I was alone and they never told me Before the tour started that I will be the only one I found out when the driver came for me . The driver stopped everywhere for coffee even though i didn’t want it. He also told me that in National safari park they didn’t accept pays with card . and i found out they did. He kept my money and it was very suspicious ( I think he change it )and no body accept it because they wanted crispy and new … he try to help With his mpesa but i think everything would be ok if he have told me card was accepted in the national park. I felt abused then he try to abuse that I did not know well the currency exchange but the good thing is that I knew how much money I had ant the price of the other things so i told him and he return me back some money. I still don't know if he was honest about that …. Then he hurry me up in the Giraffe manor I think because he quickly wanted to end the tour …. It was ok For me because I also wanted to return to the hotel… Although the places are excellent and unmissable maybe with another operator you will enjoy the most ….

Had such a great time with James in Nairobi National Park! James is a great guide, he gives you the time to really watch the animals and see them going about their daily antics. We watched a lioness stalking buck and zebras having a fight. James can be a bit curt in his digital communication, but don't let that fool you - he is so incredibly friendly and happy to adapt to your needs and preferences. A highlight was going to the elephant orphanage after the safari, which James organised. I travelled solo and felt very well taken care of by James. An absolutely wonderful way to spend a morning in Nairobi!

Great way to see a lot of Nairobi’s highlights in a day. Had a fantastic tour with James as our guide. We had a great morning game drive in Nairobi National Park where we saw Rhinos, Lions, Buffalo, Zebra, Giraffes against the not so common background of city sky line of Nairobi. I loved the Elephant Orphanage and the work they are doing there is fantastic. The babies were adorable. Also visited the Giraffe Centre, had a nice lunch followed by a tour around the Karen Blixen Museum. James was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife and knew the best spots to spot the many animals. He gave a great insight into the history of Kenya and life in present day Nairobi today. Overall it was a brilliant day and I would highly recommend.

James was a great guide with a heap of knowledge of the area and a keen sense for safari, electing to go his own ways instead of following all of the other tours and we got to see a lot of animals basically everything that was available to see in the park, as well as the elephant orphanage and the Rothschild giraffe sanctuary. thanks a lot.
