Know More about this tour

Meet your friendly guide in central Naples and start with a 30-minute orientation session to get familiar with the two-wheeled, electric, self-balancing Segway. Once you are feeling confident, leave the start point and head out to explore, following your guide around the downtown streets.

First stop is Castel nuovo. Built in two phases (in the 13th century, and then in the 15th century), the castle is one of the citys most recognizable symbols. Pose for photos on your Segway against the backdrop of the castle's medieval turrets and parapets, and then continue to Via toledo. Glide along the ancient streets, lined with fashionable boutiques, and then head inside Galleria umberto i, a public shopping gallery with a magnificent glass-roofed arcade.

Take a break outside San Carlo Opera House, and learn all about the impressive site from your guide. Created in 1737, the building is Europe's oldest working theater, hosting prestigious ballets, plays and operas from all over the world.

Pass Piazza del plebiscito, the largest square in Naples, and then make your way past its Bourbon palaces to the magnificent Royal palace of Naples. Hear of its fascinating history, including the time when the country was under Spanish rule. Look out for the beautifully domed Church of San francesco di paola; its another perfect photo spot!

Continue by Segway through Naples' Villa Communale, a park thats known as the Royal Gardens. Built in the 19th century, the beautiful botanical gardens are home to an array of picturesque plants and statues. On your way back to the start point, stop at the beach near Via Caracciolo to see the citys oldest castle, Castel dellOvo as well as a Bernini-designed fountain, Fontana dell'Immacolatella.

Cruise through the glitzy neighborhood of Santa lucia, and then finish your Segway tour back at the start point.

Luna was a very nice guide but 1/2 way through the tour the owner/operator who was the lead on the tour requested additional payments because he told me the tour was for 4 people and we only had 2. He wanted to charge me double. He waited until we were the the furthest away from the starting point. When I booked I paid for 2 people. No where on Viator or Tripadvisor does it say you need to have 4 people. This is false advertising. After 20 minutes of arguing and the owner calling me a liar, we walked back to our cruise ship over 20 minutes away. I would pass on this one.

A wonderful way to discover Naples. Our guide was very nice and knew a lot about the history and nice and interesting places and anecdotes. The raiding was easy and fun. we felt very protected and could realise from the idea of riding and really enjoying the tour. We succeeded to see many interesting things that we went after for farther explore. highly recommended!

I do not recommend trusting your holiday entertainment to CSTRents. We booked and paid for Segway tours in 3 locations (Naples, Palermo and Taormina) and all were cancelled. The bookings were for late April/early May and there was nothing on Viator that indicated there should be trouble. Here’s how the process went for all 3: A) booking made and paid for on Viator. Voucher received. B) within 24-48 hours of the booking, Leo will email you and say there are insufficient people for a tour. We booked for 2 people and made these bookings in February. So it’s hardly surprising others haven’t booked yet, and it’s bizarre they would try and dissuade you from doing so when they make this option available on Viator. C) a couple of days before the booking, Leo will email you again and offer a “private tour” if you double what you have already paid, or a refund So naturally we asked for a refund. I genuinely don’t understand their business model - it’s either incompetent to offer something at a time you’re not going to run it, or extortionate to demand double for what has been advertised. For Naples, we did take up the other option they offered which was a walking tour. The tour was OK - nothing special. And to be honest we covered the same ground and more in the food tour the next day. We just really wanted to do the Segway. Bottom line is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE. They won’t deliver. Plan on doing something else with your time.
