While we walk through the National gallery of art, we'll look at some of the 13th century Italian galleries, 17th century Dutch paintings, and 19th century American paintings. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Her enthusiasm was contagious and my granddaughter and I had a wonderful time.
There was confusion about where to meet. Visitor's instructions were incorrect.

The guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant. She gave us an overview of the collection from a historical perspective. The art was breathtaking including the only DaVinci portrait in the Western Hemisphere and a grand selection of Manet, Monet and van Gogh. We saw how Cezanne was the precursor to Cubism and the impact of photography on art.
We could never have seen so much on our own! Thank you!

Our tour guide, Abram Fox, is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He brings insight and interest to what might have appeared "only" to be paint on canvases. He provided a historical timeline for the art we viewed, presenting it in an evolutionary manner that completely added to our enjoyment.

This is definitely the way to see an art gallery.

This was a great tour. We recommend it highly. Our guide is an art history PhD candidate, made the tour very informative and entertaining for my 12 year old grandson, and learned a lot of new things.
