  • We booked a tour with an English speaking guide. When we arrived, we were told that there was 20 people and that they would have an English speaking group and a Spanish speaking group. We ultimately entered the museum 35 minutes late with a single guide who said he would do the tour in both Spanish and English. The tour we were promised ended up being mostly Spanish. His spanglish was incomprehensible. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Spending more than two hours in the museum with a very knowledgeable guide helps a lot in understanding the museum and different displays in it. The museum itself is highly recommended, as it let you see important displays of all the major native cultures and tribes that lived in Mexico and the effects of colonialism on them.Note that this is not enough time to go through the entire museum in the tour, which covers just a small part of it. covering the entire museum requires about a full day.

  • I turned up 20 minutes before the tour was to begin and waited until 10 minutes after we were supposed to leave, but nobody bothered to turn up. Emailed the company when i got back, but nobody bothered to get back to me either. Find a different guide, there are plenty around. Really disappointing

  • My tour guide, Sandra, was very good during the time we were together. I misunderstood where the meeting place was so we were late getting started but she is a kind and understanding person.

I wish we had spent time tin the Maya exhibit.
