Know More about this tour

This adult-only tour starts with a midday hotel pickup in Cancun. Travel south for about an hour to Playa del Carmen and arrive at Natives Park, an adventure park and private nature reserve in the Maya jungle. After a safety briefing, slip on a helmet and goggles, and hop aboard your single- or double-rider ATV.

Follow your guide and rev your way to Doa Marys House, also known as Casa de la Abuela (Grandmothers House). Meet one of Playa del Carmens first settlers, who operated a small ranch here for 60 years. As you stroll through an on-site medicinal plant garden, hear about the traditions of the regions first inhabitants.

Back aboard your ATV, take a thrilling and bumpy ride on winding trails and check out Maya ruins that were once part of a pre-Hispanic trade route.

After another drive, take a short walk to where you will experience a Mayan ceremony. During the ceremony, you will receive a blessing from a shaman and you will also receive an amulet. Then, take the sights from above as you go flying on two ziplines over the trees.

After the zipline experience, you will head to the beautiful cenote of Media Luna. Once inside, take a refreshing swimming break in the natural pool of water. At the cenote, you will have the chance to have some professional photos taken of you and your partner. At the end of your ride, return your ATV and freshen up in the parks shower rooms.

Then, enjoy a traditional Mexican snack with a beverage at the park before you set off to explore the town of Playa del Carmen on your own. With a leisurely three hours ahead, take time to explore La Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue), a long pedestrian walkway packed with restaurants, shops and bars, all just a few blocks away from the beach. Feel free to ask your guide for dining recommendations. Inside Parque Fundadores (Founders Park), dont miss the Portal Maya sculpture, built to commemorate the end of the Maya 2012 calendar. For some tranquility, step inside the chapel of Nuestra Seora del Carmen.

Regroup with your guide at the designated meeting point, where your transport awaits to take you back to your Cancun hotel.

  • This was an amazing trip and well worth the money. It happened to rain the whole day but we still had a great time. We loved that it was adult only and private group of 10. There was no waiting around for large groups to do things. The ATV ride was long and they actually let you drive along at a good pace so if your not new to ATV'ing it was never boring. We had one newbie in our group and they were great about accommodating different skill levels. Ziplines were high and long. Best ones we've done. Cenote was beautiful even in the rain. Staff were all super friendly. Only suggestions would be to offer the opportunity to buy a cold beer after the trip. Only soda was available. Also the pictures were amazing little annoying how many they took. They were ridiculously overpriced but no one that we saw bought them. If they were even a little cheaper I think we all would have bought them. Cool Mayan ceremony but minimal Mayan ruins. We saw basically one cave which was super cool and wasn't my main reason for the trip, but if that is your main focus I would suggest Tulum ruins tour instead. We had a delicious authentic Mexican lunch at the end of the trip. I would definitely do this again! Our guide was Nahda ? spelling and she was the best!!

  • This excursion was okay. The Mayan ceremony was nice but we did not receive an amulet. Unfortunately, one of the vehicles broke down on the trail but the guide added 15 minutes in addition to the time of the tour for the inconvenience. The cenote water was very cold and the swim was a bit short which was kinda disappointing. Casa de la Abuela was closed off due to reconstruction, wish we could have seen it. The food at the end was amazing best food I had in Mexico. Overall, it was a fun experience for the ATV portion. I recommend taking your own camera though because the photos are not worth purchasing 2 out of maybe 20 photos will come out good.

  • Unfortunately, I discovered that the ATV part of the tour was too much for a 73 year old woman. I have gone ziplining in the past and thought I could handle this, but it was way too rough a ride for me. Maybe if I had taken one on the beach it would have been okay, but the path on this trip was very rough. I had to get off the ATV after about ten minutes, and my daughter with whom I was riding went with the rest of the group. I waited for them to return and missed the ride. I did go to the cenote, the cave and the Mayan ritual. Walking in muddy areas on the trail and in the cave, were also a little slippery for me. I did enjoy the guides, the people in our group, and experiencing this with my daughter. But my advice is, that unless you are an extremely athletic person, this tour is not for anyone over 70.

  • Was fun. There was a bit of waiting around but all the staff were very friendly, I enjoyed the last part also just kicking back and having a drink and a snack looking out over the water
