This trip was everything that I could have hoped for. The guide was excellent and really gave us a great tour.
Great trip! Hotel pick up was on time and took us in a small bus to a big bus - there were 25 of us on the tour and we had a full 52 seater coach - loads of room!!
Tour guides were excellent and the trip was very informative.
Lunch - you don’t get a choice as you are taken to St Peters restaurant which is a fixed price (around £20 pp). We loved the food...you get a choice of freshly cooked meat and then help yourself to the salad bar which was all fresh and full over flavour!
Our guide Alana was really knowledgable and gave just the right amount of information. She had a lovely relaxed personality which made our tour all the more enjoyable. The only thing I wish I could have done extra was to take a boat on the Sea of Galilee instead of lunch but there were no boats where we stopped so I made do with a paddle
Very nice trip, professional guide and driver comfortable bus and beautiful landscape. Everything was just perfect
It was a great tour. We were on a large bus and I was expecting a small, but that’s ok. The tour was just as described and we enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
Well managed and delivered beautifully by the guide (Daniel) and driver (Oleg). Very good detail and amazed at how each person in the group was looked after! Well done!
A very full day if you start from Tel Aviv and are picked up in a van and delivered to the park where you are put on a bus in which everyone else habla espanol but then, just north of Jerusalem you are put on another bus which hablas english. Then the real tour started. it was very good. The tour guide was very good. You see some amazing places and completely encircle the Sea of Galilee. I really enjoyed the very informative tour. I should have given this tour a 5 out of 5.
We were blessed to be a part of Haya’s group! The tour bus picked us up and brought us to a bus hub. The original guide told us our bus number and We found the correct bus easily. We visited Nazareth, Tiberius, The Sea of Galilee, and stopped by the Jordan River to watch some folks get baptized. Haya was very knowledgeable, ready to share history and facts, answer questions in detail, and kept our group on track (timewise). We ate lunch at a great place by the Sea of Galilee (I will warn you; lunch is late in the day so bring snacks). The markets we visited were great and not pushy; We did not feel compelled to buy or stay too long like some of the other reviews mentioned. We will definitely book with Haya again! Go for it!!!
The correct timing, the excellent guide, the deliver on promise, all these aspect we are so appreciative. Thanks and please relate this to your local operator
Coach journeys of this sort are not my preferred method of travel but there aren't many other options if you're an independent traveller, unless you hire a car. It's a long day on the bus (you spend more time on the bus than at each site).
I did this tour on Saturday so I wouldn't be caught out with nothing to do during Shabbat.
The guide was informative and friendly.
The only 2 negatives:
- lunch isn't included in the price (which I knew when I booked the tour, it's clear in the inclusions/exclusions) but we were herded into a restaurant for lunch which cost 80ILS. There is really no choice but to eat at this restaurant as there isn't any other option.
- in Nazareth we were taken to a tourist shop and really pushed to buy goods. I know we're tourists and therefore possibly a mark but it was pretty shameless. Having said that, I accept that tourist revenue is their only source of income.
A lot is covered in a day and it's long journey back to the hotel (lots of traffic once Shabbat ends) but I'm pleased I went on this tour.
