Know More about this tour

After pickup from your hotel, join your crew aboard a luxury catamaran to start your 3-hour snorkel and sunset sailing adventure. Enjoy free drinks and reggae music as you cruise along the coast to Negril. Along the way, stop to snorkel from the boat and see the underwater beauty of Jamaicas pristine seas. Swim among colorful tropical fish and coral reefs (snorkeling equipment included) or just relax on the boats deck in the sun and warm breeze.

When you arrive at the village of Negril, you can swim and snorkel in the protected Negril Marine Park, which includes shoreline, mangrove forests, the sea and coral reefs. Once a sleepy fishing village, Negril is now famous for its sublime sunsets, miles of white-sand beach and laid back atmosphere.

After exploring the waters, your crew will take you to a perfect spot to watch the sun set over the Caribbean, just offshore from Ricks Cafe. Ricks was one of the areas first restaurants when it opened in the 1970s and it has been going strong ever since. Watch the action outside of Ricks Cafe as intrepid locals and visitors jump from 35-foot-high (11-meter) cliffs into the turquoise water below.

  • The tour was very unorganized and unprofessional.
We were picked up and taken to a shopping centre which was not apart of the trip
We then were dropped off at Margaritaville where we spent the next 2.5 hours. When we first arrived I was told we would be there for 1 hour.
Literally the entire group was confused as after an hour no one could find the tour guide.
We were also told when we booked that we took the catamaran back as it was a short trip to Ricks Cafe.
I would not recommend this to anyone for the price.

  • 7 mile beach was lovely. Margaritaville food and drinks were good but over priced. The Catamaran cruise was OK, but could have been better. The crew was not overly engaging and the snorkeling site was nothing exceptional. We were only in the water for appx. 20 minutes and called back to the boat. We thought we would be taken to a 2nd snorkel site, but that was not the case. Ricks café was a blast and cliff jumping was amazing and unforgettable. We were highly disappointed that we were rounded up and asked to leave 15 minutes before the sunset! My husband and I tried to explain to the driver and the rest of the group that the sunset was the whole point of the excursion, but were led to the parking lot before we could see the spectacular sunset into the sea - ugggg.

  • The staff was nice and helpful, but a couple of issues. We weren't into snorkeling and went in knowing this well. However, we were surprised that one could get on the boat only after walking in about 3 feet deep water. With a 5 year old with us, it turned out to be quite a problem.

The sunset at Rick's cafe is clearly false advertising. Even on one of the shortest day in the year end of december, the boat left Rick's cafe around 5:00 pm, well before the sunset.

  • We had a blast.

  • It was an amazing trip. The sunset was stunning. We had the luck to get a very rare view of dolphins.

  • Tour was great. All ships crew were very fun. Drinks were good. Just wish it lasted longer.

  • Zero. If I could go less then that I would. The trip first drops you off at Margaritaville in Negril and you sit there for about 45 minutes drinking their WAY overpriced drinks. I'm sure this company gets a cut of those drinks. Then when they put you on the boat, there's no security and you are being harassed by the locals to buy their joints. At least at the resorts there are security who keep them away from you. The boat only has a cover over the top and all sides are open. They don't tell you this when you book. On a pouring rain trip like ours, there is no protection. Everybody got soaked as the rain was coming in from the sides. Other cats I've been on have at least windows on 3 sides so the main area stays dry. Then, after the trip, and here's the worst part, you are again harassed by the locals as you get back on the beach, then they tell you to walk around the side of Margaritaville to the parking lot. In the mud. In the pouring rain. I don't know why they wouldn't let us go back into Margaritaville. We get to the parking lot, and NO BUS! The guy left us! His name was Slim Jim on bus 14. And the people that work in Margaritaville were no help. After walking around the parking lot looking for our bus, in the rain, I finally got on the phone to my butler at Sandals to sent a van to get us. Then a different bus showed up. Picture all of us soaked, harassed, and no bus. DO NOT DO THIS TRIP! I really felt taken .

  • This was basically a booze cruise, and not a very good one. First there was no drinking until we had completed snorkelling which is fine as this was for safety, but the advertised 1 hour snorkelling on the reef was only 15 minutes, then back on the boat. Then it was off to Ricks Cafe which was a real tourist trap with expensive drinks badly served, and the bar was filthy with flies and wasps getting into the bottle spouts and all over the bar. One drink and 15 minutes was enough here and then we waited 45 minutes for the tender back to the boat. The promised Reggae and dancing while watching the sunset did not happen, we saw the sunset from the boat as we headed back, and the music was awful disco and rave. I certainly would not recommend this to anyone going as a couple over the age of 35. There was no help for anyone getting off the boat, which dod not anchor and we were waist high in the water wading to the shore with our bags above our heads, then the boat drifted backwards while people were still getting off and they were then chest deep. Getting on and off the boat we were harassed to buy drugs, the rep on the way in could not deliver any information due to a guy trying to sell drugs walking around inside the group telling everyone what he had for sale, making this trip unsuitable for many particularly with kids.

  • This is a great trip departing from Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in Negril. We were actually staying in Montego Bay and had a wonderful trip over in a private car with a very knowledgeable driver who toured us around local spots along the way to Negril. The only issue with this trip is not knowing if someone on the boat will overindulge in the unlimited rum punch and red strip, and do or say inappropriate things, especially if you have family traveling with children. We had our 11 year old daughter and a couple of people got a little out of hand, which upset my daughter. We then had to hear other people voicing opinions that our daughter shouldn't have been on the trip. I purposely chose a boat that did not advertise as a booze cruise but unfortunately several people were over-served. Overall I would recommend this trip for the experience. It's a beautiful boat ride and an excellent way to spend a a day.

  • The staff was amazing. We had a blast. They only give you banana chips were great so no food so bring some if you are drinking. We had a blast on this and would recommend it to everyone.
