  Bus was about 45 minutes late picking me up (not the biggest deal—things happen and it was a large bus with guests from multiple hotels, but keep in mind it's hard to communicate and make phone calls to find out what's is going on when your in a foreign country don't have local cell service). Overall the driver and tour guide were good. Pick-up was scheduled for 9:30am and I did not get back to my hotel until 8:30 that night. Margaritaville at 9-mile beach was a little too lively for me (I'm more a quiet relaxing beach type). The beach salesman were too aggressive and annoying. Beach was still beautiful and you can walk to other parts of the beach if you wish.
  The Time Square gift shops had the basic items. Again, I don't care for aggressive salespersons but that's to be expected. The final stop is Rick's Cafe to drink, eat, watch divers and sunset. By the time we arrive here, was I completely exhausted and did not have it in me to enjoy it, but it was quite a lively place.
  Overall it's a long excursion that I found exhausting, and I personally did not enjoy the trip for multiple reasons, a lot of which was my fault of not really intuiting ahead of time whether this is the type of excursion I'd actually enjoy (which is why I rate it as average rather than poor).

  We lucked out that we had a dry day. Enjoyed Negril Beach at Margaritaville. RIck's Cafe visit was sort rushed.

  We enjoyed ourselves but I would suggest a half day trip for this because you stop at other hotels to pick up other people and it takes a little time not to add the trip is already hours long. We left the hotel @ 9:45 am and made it back at 8:45pm. Ricks café is beautiful the crowd is mixed but more so for ages 18-30. A lot of young people cliff diving. I missed the sunset cause I was doing the wobble.(*_*). A burger was $15, t-shirt $25 and up.

  This tour was well worth the money. We had a wonderful time at the beach. The free chair and umbrella was a nice perk. Food was a bit pricey at Margaritaville. Despite a brief downpour we still enjoyed the 3 hrs at the beach. After the beach we had an hour or so to shop at the Times Square market where prices were reasonable. On to Ricks Cafe. It was Spring Break so it was a bit crowded but we were still able to see the cliff divers with no problem. I was surprised at the number of small children age 7-12 that were high diving. The driver waa a safe driver and tour guide was informative along the way. Only downfall was we were at Iberostar Grand Montego the first pickup at 9am so we had to endure the constant stops at the various hotels that seemed forever. We made it back to the hotel after Ricks sunset at 8:45pm. I still had a wonderful time with lots of memories to bring home. I highly recommend this tour. It is 10 hrs so dont book if thats too long a day for you. Thanks Viator and JTL Tours

  Loved this one! You have to see the sunset, the atmosphere at the Beach and Ricks bar was buzzing! Tour guide was really funny and kept us entertained for the journey with lots of interesting facts about Jamaica!

  my tour was on Dec. 12/2017, but because of windy-rainy season, tour set up on Dec.13.
  we did not go to Ricks Cafe because of road closed.
  spend time on beach.
  shopping which was not very important but spent lots of time there.
  most important was ricks cafe, which we did not see
  totally useless trip.

  Beach Day Yah Mon

  Think of Negril as the relaxation and chill out day, you don't want to go crazy because what you about to hear is real facts, start by staying in Montego Bay because of its strategic location, affordability and the company is pretty good at pick up so do keep time. The journey to Negril was smooth and amazing keep your camera ready the scenery is amazing remember the Bob Marley song over hills and valleys too...yes that was true. Less than 2 hours with one to two stops especially just for bathroom and traffic were in Negril, just excuse the roads on the way, they are tiny and lot corners excuse me I live in Texas so please understand - most people say Jamaican drives are rough on the road I think so too but not as bad as they have in Nairobi, Kenya. Our 1st stop Margaritaville Negril which has a nice beach access and good music of all kind, here time allocated is about 3 hours to enjoy the Seven Mile Beach eat, drink and play at the beach. There's lot of activities to do including water sport so decide quickly on what you really want to do or just scroll on the beautiful beach, swim and lay for a good tan. I picked scroll, swim, jump, tan and dance because unless your spending the whole day there, the beach is stunning and what's the point of going to Seven Mile Beach anyway other than enjoy the beach, just don't do something that will kill all the 3 hours since you will have no time to really enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking beach, when I mean white sand I mean it lets debate about Miami Beach vs Seven Mile Beach another day. You will notice time runs fast I guess it waits for no man/woman as they say but anyway off to the next stop Times Square Shopping Mall less than 20 minutes drive where you will pick up souvenir...remember don't buy anything anywhere until this day because the best prices or local rates are here trust me. I personally bought a vest, t-shirt, shot glasses, a lot of Jerk Sauce don't ask why Jerk Chicken is addictive and many more and still didn't break my pockets. After this we went to Ricks Café to watch the sunset also not very far, this place is popular so expect crowds to some degree its better you just get a drink here food takes long time to come and you might not have a place to sit anyway. Its advised not to jump the cliff but just watch but if I went back I would jump without thinking twice so please jump on my behalf.

  Pros: Like they say in Jamaica Yah Mon...No Problem on a day like this nothing can kill a good vibe.

  Cons: I know your looking for negative, one would have to be Seven Mile Beach is too stunning to explore in just as short as 3 hours, its too legit to resist. Also just remember it also depends on who your guides are so ask for DARLENE and Driver RICARDO.

  Tips: On arrival at Margaritaville Negril my advice would be immediately pick an umbrella and chairs I think for this company is free or with some discount maybe USD 15, then order drinks also with some discount then in an hour order food and more drinks swim tan or scroll on beach or ride horses or play beach volleyball or just dance since music is blasting anyway and keep it that simple promise you will enjoy the beach better. Book with Viator this is a no brainer, carry swim suit and another pair of change clothes, stick with shorts and t-shirt or light clothes, carry lot water...I mean 4 bottles per person thank me later, good camera with waterproof case and portable charger. There you go

  Have to do this!!! Was on my bucket list and jumped off the cliffs!!! FUN!!! advice? It is packed!!! VERY PACKED and it takes an hour to get a drink, so make sure you have time to wait for that!! Has entertainment, singing , was nice also.

  This was my favorite of all the tours. First off it was all day thing which I absolutely loved. Second JTL is the best. Couldn't ask for a better driver and tour guide. I had Andre and he was fantastic. Very upbeat, engaging, and a pretty funny guy. I would definitely do this tour again!
