Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
You will be met by representatives from Himalayan Adventure Treks who will provide transportation to your hotel and answer all your questions about the schedule of tours. No activities are planned for the day. You are free to explore picturesque down town Kathmandu. A representative from Himalayan Adventure Treks will be happy to accompany you if desired.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
The Kathmandu Valley is historical center of Nepal. On this day you will be guided through Durbar square, the Monkey Temple and Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu, and then through two other nearby ancient cities Patan and Bhaktapur. These three major cities of the valley have strong artistic and architectural heritage.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara
You will be awakened early morning to watch the sunrise over the Himalaya. Hovering over the highest peak of the world (weather permitting) in the comfort aircraft will be a great moment on your traveling life. During the one hour flight time you can see all the spectacular glaciers, snow-capped peaks and gorges glide below as you fly towards your destination to circle around Ammadablam bringing you eye to eye with the highest point of the world-Mount Everest.
Around noon, you will fly to Pokhara (30 Mts.), offering some beautiful scenery of mountains.
In Pokhara, you will have a couple of hours to yourself, to row in a boat on the lake, or to take a stroll along its shores. You will spend the night in Pokhara.
Day 4: Full Day Sightseeing in Pokhara
This is the beginning of your three days/ two nights trek. Your final destination is Ghandrung, a beautiful mountain village. During your trek you can view the Himalayan peaks of Annapurna (80091m), Machhapuchhre (also known as Fishtail, 6993m) and Lamjung Himal (6983m).
Along the way through the mountain villages, your guide will explain the lifestyle and culture of the local inhabitants. Porters will carry your baggage. You will spend the nights in the selected lodges.
Day 5: Pokhara to Chitwan
In the morning you will be driven to Chitwan National Park a wildlife reserve, where You will spend the night. Chitwan is home to hundreds of wild animals including tigers, rhinos, spotted deer, boars and over four hundred species of birds.
Day 6: Chitwan Jungle Safari
Staying in comfortable resorts inside the National Park you will enjoy a jungle Safari program, which will include a walk through the jungle, an elephant ride, bird watching canoeing and more.
Day 7: Drive to Lumbini
On this day we will take tourist bus to Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha. it will take your around 4 to 5 hours of ride from chitwan.
Day 8: Explore Lumbini
Today you will visit the chief sites of archaeological and religious interest like Mayadevi temple where Buddha was born; the sacred Pushkarni pond where Mayadevi, the biological mother of Buddha, took a bath after the delivery; Ashoka pillar, founded by an emperor-turned-Buddhist, and the sacred garden. Also, you will visit the monasteric zone – divided into two segments according to school of thoughts: West for Theravada and East for Mayayana – which consists of monasteries constructed by different nations that include exclusively Buddhist countries like Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Korea as well as non-Buddhist Western nations like France, Germany etc.
Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu
Today after breakfast at your hotel, you will drive back to Kathmandu. It will take you around 7 to 8 hours to reach Kathmandu.
Day 10: Departure from Nepal or Preparation for another Trip
If you have significant time to do another trip in Nepal then we will leave for trekking or tour in Nepal otherwise this is the last day of your Nepal Staying. Our representative will leave at International Airport. We hope we will get another opportunity to arrange your trip in Nepal.
