For future trips to NYC, especially if I was travelling with another party, I would likely take a taxi. It took a while to have the shuttle pick us up. We were the first ones on and the last ones off the shuttle. Driver was excellent but traffic congestion made it difficult to navigate
After the initial check in at the welcome desk at Newark Airport which was quite laborious and strangely low tech ....the actual transportation to our hotel was great and reasonably priced.
Very stressful experience unfortunately as it was our first time in NYC. The bus was delayed by 30 minutes and we have multiple pickups with the resulting crammed interior. Very heavy traffic did not help. The worst part during the entire trip the driver was permanently on his cell phone speaking in a foreign language. Whilst in NYC we discovered you can pay $59 fixed price to and from JFK. We got a cab for the return journey!
Despite the many negative reviews, we had a good experience with this pick-up service. However, I believe we were just lucky as we were at the right time at the right place. The pick-up corner at JFK was chaotic and the lady there had difficulties finding our reservation even though we had all our copies with us. Thankfully, she managed to get a ride anyway and a couple of passengers did not show up. The downside was that we had not yet any small change and thus, it was not possible to give a tip to the driver. I hope the driver is somewhat well paid.
worse service I have ever experience, information was limited Skip-the Line Shuttle was 2 and half late.
It's probably the cheapest way to go into Manhattan from JFK, but it was slow and very uncomfortable. Next time I'll prefer to take a taxi.
It took too long to get my shuttle and it took too long to reach my destination. Otherwise, it was fine.
The transfer service was easy to hire and was also simple to find at JFK terminal 8, with the excellent support of the welcome service and airport information. The transfer service was good enough for the price charged.
The only good thing with this service is price. Very long waiting period, a driver who talks on the phone 30 min and very long delivery to the hotel etc etc
Waited 30 minutes but transfer was direct, safe, perfect. Great value. I would highly recommend this service.
