It the cheap way to traveling NYC bue you cannot make reservation for each attraction. We went to Top of Rock and when we get there we have to wait for 1 hour to acess because it's just general admission. If you're going to Top of rock for the sunset you have be there 2 hour before sunset.

Well worth getting the pass as it saves a lot of money on entry to certain attractions. Check first if the attractions you want to go to are included. We selected four, 5 day passes and this included four of the five observation decks (Empire State, Rockefeller, Edge and One World Observatory. Summit One Vanderbilt is NOT included). Some of the attractions you need to book timed entry, others you can't so you need to turn up on the day (morning is best) which you want to visit and book your entry. One World did allow me to turn up a couple of days before my visit and book a slot. However, the day I booked to visit was a thunderstorm. The guy at OW did say at the time of visit that I can visit another time provided I use the tickets within the duration of the passes. Overall would recommend the passes but bear in mind you will not be able to book online or phone for timed entry, you either turn up at the time you want to get in or go in the morning and book and visit again later in the day.

A great way to have all your passes/tickets in one place. National History museum is a must as is Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty. So easy to use the Go City pass.

Purchasing the Go City Explorer pass was the best decision and investment of the whole trip. We saved around 50%!

This pass was easy to use and let us explore 5 different attractions (for about $34CDN per person). We enjoyed the guided 2 hour Central Park tour, Top of the Rock, the Best of NY Circle Line boat cruise, the Hop-on Hop off bus and The RIDE. This was a great way to see the best of NYC with a family (kid aged 9, 13, 16). I would say that my kids didn’t really love the RIDE (they aren’t really into theatre) but all the other experiences are highly recommended. Great value for the money. Keep an eye on Costco (Canada) as they sometimes have this pass at even more of a discount (for just 4 attractions). We had no issues with the pass at all and the app made it easy to check info.

We were turned back at the Edge while in a queue AFTER scanning our passes due to lightning. We were unable to get a refund sorted from City Pass so basically paid for it but didn't see it. Go City promised to get back to me but didn't. Make sure there's no risk of cancellation before committing to anything on your pass.

I got the 5 attractions pass and it was amazing. I had no issue using any of my passes and even the ones that needed to be scheduled before hand. It was a great deal as every attraction that I visited without the pass would have coast my around $40-60 each.
