Stop At: The High Line Park, New York City, New York
Well start your NYC tour with some background information on the High Line before strolling on the historic structure to see history up close. The aerial park is so much more than a green space. In fact, it was once an elevated railway that delivered goods to the various meatpacking plants and food factories that occupied the area. Along the way, your guide will tell you about the various artworks many of which are interactive and about what youre looking at down below. Hint: Have your camera ready, as youll get some stunning views of landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building.

Stop At: Chelsea Market, New York City, New York
Well also visit the famed Chelsea Market once the home of the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) and maybe grab a quick taste of some of their treats.

Stop At: Meatpacking District, New York City, New York
Well then continue north along the High Line talking about architecture, sustainable design, and the transformation of the neighborhood.

Once you exit the High Line, your guide will take you through NYCs Chelsea district to understand how the hip art-focused 'hood has been transformed by the High Line.

The High Line is gorgeous. Great art and views. Our guide Jillian was super fun, informative and delightful, def request. The shops and food in Chelsea Market didn’t disappoint. Cute area of NY a must see and do.

The tour was scheduled early, 9am, which was perfect. Since it was late June, it the temperature was comfortable for walking. Also, we almost had the park to ourselves. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. She also provided ideas for things to do during the rest of our stay in NYC.

Great morning well worth visiting the High Line we will definitely go there again on a visit to NY. Our guide Mary Hannah Lynn was fantastic she gave us so much information and also took us to the Chelsea market for a food tasting. We would highly recommend a visit to the High Line either in the winter or summer.
