  • This tour was the highlight of our trip to San Juan. Our guide Angel was great and made it feel like we were traveling with a friend. He knew all the locals at each stop and took good care of us. Cave tour was definitely unique. Very different from others toured in KY and AZ. The Observatory was something my husband has always wanted to visit. The coastal stop was so beautiful. The stop for lunch was exactly what we had been hoping for to try local authentic food. Even with rain cancelling out our last stop on the black sand beach, we had a thoroughly enjoyable trip and would definitely recommend as the best tour and at a great value.

  • This tour was absolutely incredible. It was the absolute highlight of our vacation in Puerto Rico. Angel and his family were so wonderful and went WAY above and beyond all our expectations. The Caverns was what we originally signed up for this tour to see, but I'm SO glad we picked this tour over others that also went to the Caverns for a few reasons: 1. The other three locations we went to were breathtaking and most tour groups do not take you to all three, if we hadn't signed up for this tour we wouldn't have even known about the last two! 2. Angel and his family showed us the real Puerto Rican experience by taking us to a delicious and cheap! place for lunch and he even would stop along the road at various vendors to get us fruit and treats native to the area which was so cool and would never happen with the bigger tour groups. 3. This tour was small, intimate and I felt like I really connected with the other tour goers and with Angel, his wife and his daughter. I learned so much and had a great time. All in all, this tour was by far the best experience we had in PR, don't leave without going on a tour with Angel!!!

  • Angel and his wife love PR and it shows. They run a friendly and profesional tour that made our trip the best ever. Angel is passionate to show his Island. He wants you to love it as much as he does. They provided us with fresh fruit, traditional ice treats and the best meal we had. GO now!

  • Angel is the real deal. He showed us a great time in the real Puerto Rico.

  • This trip was absolutely perfect. I've been traveling all over the world for the past 10 years and our tour guide, Angel with Tourism Family, was the best guide I've ever had. He and his wife will make you love Puerto Rico even more. He's completely down to earth and goes the extra mile to explain the culture. He doesn't stick to a time schedule, which is perfect for spending a little extra time at some of the spots and making some detours along the way. He will even provide you some snacks and water along the way. Be sure to ask for some Quenepas, they were my daughter's favorite. If I could have booked them for all our trips in Puerto Rico, I would have done so. He keeps the groups small and you travel by van, instead of the big buses. You see a lot on this trip so it's worth your money. And be sure to read all the information about the trip so you are prepared. You will need money to pay for admissions and tennis shoes for lots of walking, some a little strenuous . The audio speakers provide great history on the cave and it was a neat experience, even with the awful smelling bat poop. The Observatory was something I didn't know existed. The vastness of it is pretty spectacular. But overall it was probably our least favorite. The walk up the STEEP hill proved how out of shape I was. La Cueva Del Indio was STUNNING. Keep in mind that this is volcanic rock, very sharp points and no easy pathway to walk around it. But the view....OH MY worth it. The black magnetic beach was just cool. It really is magnetic. Best money we spent in Puerto Rico was on this trip! As a side note, you will make a lunch stop for some authentic Puerto Rico food ours was BBQ. And Finally, the way Angel and his wife took care of and helped my 80 year old mom, will be something I won't forget. Truly great people!!!!

  • Angel and Kathleen made this trip the highlight of our visit to Puerto Rico. We're glad we waited until the end of our trip to see some incredible sights in the caves and at the observatory, but also for the warm, caring attention that we received at all times. We were surprised to have some local fruit treats waiting for us in the car after visiting sites. I highly recommend their personalized attention and knowledge about the sites. We did not have this kind of attention in any of the three other trips we took with other companies.

  • This trip is very enjoyable. From the beginning, Angel was very engaging and entertaining. He told us a little about each destination, but wanted the destination to speak for itself. The biggest shock of the trip was that we as the passengers were responsible for each gate ticket to each attraction. I think this information should have been included in the description of the excursion. We spent an additional 35 per person to visit the caves, radio telescope and Cueva del Indio. The black magnetic beach is a free public beach. We were given snacks of local fruit and frozen treats to sample during each trip between destinations. Other trips with these same destinations were more expensive, but they may have included the gate tickets already. I am not sure. It is a full day of traveling and site seeing. We were picked up at the Ritz Carlton at 7:15am promptly, and returned at about 5:00pm, tired but happy from what we saw and experienced. When going to the Cueva del Indio, make sure to have sturdy shoes. You will be climbing over volcanic rock, which is sharp and rugged. But the views of the ocean and Indian drawings are worth the climb. My family was glad we took the trip and that Angel did all of the driving and navigating. We would not have made these places on our own.

  • This tour was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. Angel and Kathleen are excellent tour guides! They were both knowledgable, helpful, fun, and committed to making sure that we had the best experience possible. We had considered renting a car and seeing these sites on our own - but we were so glad that we had taken this tour instead. We would never have been able to do all that we did on our own. Camuy River Cave Park was amazing. Unfortunately, the Observatory was unexpectedly closed that day, but Angel suggested an alternative - Cueva Ventana, which was a little more challenging than we had anticipated. Camuy was much better, so I would skip it next time. Cueva del Indio was definitely our favorite. Beautiful views and Angel knew how to guide us to the best places. He was very encouraging and even though I'm scared of heights and the rocks were a little tricky, he gave me the confidence to push myself a little and get some really great photos. The black magnetic sand beach was really beautiful also. A truly wonderful experience - if you only take one tour when you go Puerto Rico - this is the one to take!

  • This tour was so amazing and beautifully . Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and was very friendly and helpful. Angel our guide took extra care of and provided lots of assistance to my elderly mother who went with me on this tour which was I extremely grateful for. We even had yummy local snacks to eat and never felt rushed through any of the wonderful places we visited. We were also lucky and had some really nice, fun, and enjoyable people on the tour with us who made the whole experience even better. This was hands down our favorite day in Puerto Rico and I would diffidently recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks again Family Tourism for an unforgettable day.

  • Walking on the volcanic rock was challenging for us we are in our 70s at the Cueva Del Indio but the view was beauktiful! The Camuy River Cave Park was lovely and easy to walk. The Observatory was a little dissapointing as we were told the movie was in English at 1:00 but it was at 12:30 so we missed it.
