Fantastic day touring the Barossa with Vince, entertaining us with relevant history and local facts. Great itinerary, we appreciated the individual service even making sure the fire was lit at chosen vineyards!!

We had a great time with Danny! He knew a lot about the vineyards and Adelaide in general. Definitely worth paying a little extra to go with a small group :)

Great tour with a knowledgeable guide. They were very flexible and altered things on the run to suit our tastes on the day. I would recommend this tour to anyone due to the friendliness and flexibility.

Had a great day visiting boutique wineries in the Barossa with group of family & friends. Our guide Danny was knowledgeable about the region & gave us an informative commentary whilst travelling. Awesome lunch included & Chateau Yaldara was our favourite with the lovely Susan making it a really fun tasting.

First and foremost, the vineyards selected for this tour were fantastic. Excellent Barossa Valley wines! However, I was disappointed that we only went to three vineyards (and one restaurant with a good selection of [included] wines) when the description listed four vineyards. The driver was friendly and we had a small group so he suggested that we consequently had more flexibility than usual. He also stopped at a cheese stop (where we got a tasting of four cheeses) and a chocolate store (that didn't have a proper tasting available, it was only really a shop with a window into its production floor). He never suggested we were choosing in between those stops and the fourth vineyard. If that was presented as an "either or" option, there is no doubt I would have chosen the fourth vineyard -- especially since the tour was supposed to cover the tasting fees for each of the four vineyards + lunch, but instead we only got three vineyards + lunch.

I was very disappointed with this tour. After the first winery we were then asked where do we want to go next? No one on the bus was from South Australia so how would we know. Our driver then started phoning places to see if we could get in. When I booked I presumed the tour was organized but apart from the first winery and lunch nothing else was booked in.

We had an excellent day! We happened to be the only passengers on the tour that day, which suited us fine. Our driver Danny was great company. He obviously knows the region very well, and was able to tailor the tour for us.

We had a lovely group of people that we were touring with, and our driver/guide (Vince) was informative and dryly funny. The first winery that we visited (Kies) definitely had the best wines. Our hostess was Chelsey (who normally works out in the winery) and was very knowledgeable. Our second stop was Red Heads - which was a very young and innovative winery, completely sustainable - solar powered - but we weren’t impressed with the wines. They will get better over time, I think. Then, after a stop at a cheese shop for a tasting of four cheeses, we walked up the street to the restaurant for lunch - which was excellent (and offered a full glass of wine). My husband and I bought a couple of different cheeses from the shop that weren’t part of the tasting, and were very happy with our selections. Our last tasting was a winery called Seabrook - which has a lovely view of the Barossa Valley and their own vineyards from their outdoor terrace. It was a bit cool, but they supplied us with blankets ( or rugs)! Their wines were good, but Kies really knocked it out of the park. Finally, there was a quick stop at Maggie Beer’s Farm Market, which was overly commercial, so we took advantage of the Nature Walk and the Farm Walk - very nice! All in all a very nice day, and I believe it was worth the price. Thanks much!

We were lucky to have chosen the ‘Adelaide Top Food and Wine Tours’ to take us to the Barossa. Innez was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable and super friendly. This is a local family business and had such personalised service. We were treated to some magnificent wineries such as Kies Wines, Rockford Wines & Langmeil Wines. Ben and I learnt so much about the Barossa and Adelaide on our day. Would highly recommend the Adelaide Top Food and Wine Tour to visit any wineries around Adelaide.
