Bus was clean and comfortable. Denis our Tour guide was pleasant and funny! After seeing light stopped in cafe had delicious cupcake and hot cocoa with Baileys

The transportation was prompt and our name clearly called to board the bus. Comfortable travel, on board heating and charging points were a bonus. Great location for attempting to see the northern lights. Despite not seeing the lights on our first attempt the second trip proved to be a phenomenal experience. It was great that with Viator’s you get to have the second trip for free if you fail to see the lights the first time which was a great bonus. A really great service, clear prompt communication and instructions via email. Great customer care team available via phone. Would recommend this to anyone booking excursions to Iceland.

Viator is awful. Not only do they have awful customer service but they do not return money after their errors.

Very well run - relaxed and casual. Lots of info regarding the Lights and camera settings. Our guide was able to tell us a lot about the phenomenon and once there let us do our own thing with help if needed. Dropped back at hotel / closest bus stop at end of night :—)

I only had 3 nights in Reykjavik and booked 2 separate Norther Light Tours. Another on the first day and this on the last day. On the first day, my tour was cancelled so they allowed me to re-book for the next night. On the second night the tour was cancelled again so I booked for the 3rd night. Now I had to choose between 2 separate tours. I decided to cancel this tour to give someone else my seats. The tour company emailed me back and asked if there was another night I could go but unfortunately it was my last night. I requested a refund but I was denied. Perhaps if someone reading this would like to go on this tour, they will allow me to transfer to you (3).

The weather was totally against us, but the tour was well organised, and I saw a glimpse of the lights.

Don’t book this trip . Stood in the ice cold for 5 hours with no sighting of the lights. They drive you out of the city for an hour to a viewing spot with of course an overpriced restaurant / bar . Of course they crowd in 10 bus loads of people so long line ups for bathroom and drinks .. big money scam save your money and look up at the sky I the city at a nice bar

Our tour guide Hally was absolutely fantastic, you could tell he was obsessed hunting the Northern Lights. We never managed to see them and fly home today but the good news is we can redeem our voucher on our next visit to Iceland.

  • 19-Dec-2019

Although unfortunately we did not get to see the lights, the company tried their best. We did not see them the first night so the company booked us in for the following night. Again no lights, but that is nature and not down to the tour guide, they tried their best. We have a 2year open booking so will try again!

Our guide did everything possible for us to see the northern lights and loved the fact that you can go again if you did not see it.
