Reuben was our amazing tour guide on this trip! The open 4x4 was perfect for scaling the mountains. The lava pool was an incredible experience. We saw so many wonderful sights throughout the day and Reuben gave great commentary and awesome customer service in multiple languages! Highly recommend this activity while in Madeira!

My husband and I went on this tour with our guide Duarte. Duarte was an excellent guide, he was very knowledgeable and friendly and we felt very safe with his skilled maneuvering of the steep roads of madeira and the off-road portion of the tour. The natural pools were beautiful and it was nice to take a refreshing dip. Beautiful scenery and the day was made most memorable by Duarte's skill as a guide, thank you so much!

My husband and I had a great tour with our driver Tony who kept it interesting and fun. We saw some beautiful sites, and although we could not go swimming due to the windy conditions, the photo shoots and video footage of the waves crashing in were stunning. Overall we both had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of real Maderia by a local guide.

I really enjoyed this tour. The scenery itself is breathtaking, but Phillip the tour guide was great and made the day really fun.

I would recommenced this tour to everyone. Roberto our driver was entertaining and knowledgeable about the Island. You got to see a great deal in the day, and got some fun off-road experiences high up in the Mountains.

We had an amazing time on this trip!! Our guides Duarte and Roberto were terrific!!
First, you really should do something like this so you can see the island properly. Walks through Funchal - or even a catamarin trip both of which we did simply don't do the island justice. The roads are tricky so you must do this with professionals. The jeeps not to mention the skill of the drivers made the adventure much more exciting and also safe. And Duarte and Roberto are simply the best. We were group of nine - ages 19 - 75 - and Duarte and Roberto made this fun, interesting and entertaining for everyone. It's a long day and an incredibly good value for the money. Don't miss this!! -
This was our first jeep tour on Madeira. The driver was punctual and very nice and the jeep in very good condition. Our first stop was a phenomenal view on the south coast before cutting right through the steeply walled valleys to the north coast, including going through a 3.1 km tunnel. Weather on the north coast cooler and the ocean waves wilder. Saw many waterfalls tumbling down the mountains. the locals had a unique way of blocking off the incoming waves with rocks and boulders to create a natural, calmer area to swim. We went right to the northwest corner of the island then headed straight up the mountain, on very narrow twisting roads for some more incredible views. The drivers showed the true abilities of the jeeps by going off road with us through eucalyptus forests and high mountain fields. After a tasty lunch, we came back down the mountain on the south side and visited a pretty fishing village then up to the glass floor of Cabo Girao 580 metres over the coast before dodging an impromptu waterfall on the road and heading back to our hotels. The tour gave us a thorough overview of the beautiful island of Madeira in a comfortable yet exciting manner.
