  • This is something I would absolutely do again. We traveled in a large group and they accommodated us with out any problem. The ride to the beach was great, but the beach was even better. I did think the off-roading part of it could have been longer, but I enjoyed it either way. A must to try!

  • This tour was definitely way above our expectations! Our tour guide Angel came to the meeting point and we walked to a parking where our car was waiting. We followed him through Cozumel where we had the chance to see more of it and its beautiful landscape. After about 25 minutes, we arrived at the Mayan ruins where we had about 30 minutes to go round, see the ruins and take some photos. The entrance fee was included in the tour price. It was an interesting experience. After that, we drove to the off-road track. There, it was an amazing experience, as the track was really nice and we had the chance to drift and go through mud! We saw some cows there as well and took some photos with them. Following the off-road adventure, we went to Hacienda Antigua a tequila factory museum where another guide explained to us how tequila was made and how it is made now. We had some margaritas through our tour and in the end there was tequila tasting where we had the chance to taste their tequila and some flavoured tequila as well. It was really nice and our guide was very friendly and nice! After the tequila tour, we went to our final stop which was at the beach. They have provided us with snorkeling equipment and went for snorkeling together with a guide that knew where to take us and what to show us. There were some really nice fish and corals and the experience was great! Before leaving, we had some fajitas included in the tour and then went back to the parking and to our ship. Generally, Angel was friendly and well informed and the tour was amazing. We would highly recommend this tour!

  • This excursion was the highlight of our family vacation. The water was crystal clear with plenty of fish and stingrays to see. The cooking class was not only educational but tasty as well. The offroad buggies were well used but a blast nonetheless riding in open air. Staff was amazing.

  • Not sure how so many people can say this was The most fun you can imagine, or This was the highlight of our entire vacation. Most of the adventure involved city driving in a dilapidated buggy. The Mayan ruins were nice, but then it was back on paved roads for 20 minutes until we finally went off road which was just a dusty trail my Mazda 3 could have handled, and only offered small glimpses of the sea. After more paved roads, we turned off into a quarry where there were a couple uninspired hills to drive over and after kicking up dusk by driving in fast circles it was back to the main roads.

We passed on the tequila tour because we didn't want to be hustled into buying no name tequila .. seriously, Google couldn't find anything about it. More city driving lead us to lunch at Playa Uvas which offered sad fajitas and dry tortillas. It was fun to watch the masses of cruise people get herded around and attempt to snorkel in the crowded beach. The option to snorkel was included, but we passed on that as we were in Cozumel for the scuba diving.

After we found out it would be more city driving to the drop off point, we passed and just took a cab back to our resort.

If you do go, take something to cover your mouth and nose so you can breathe easier from the dust... but to be honest there's way better things in Cozumel to spend your money on.

  • The most fun you can imagine. Be prepared to drive a stick is all, drive was awesome, ruins were inspiring and off roading was a blast. The staff was great, helpful and the views were amazing. I highly recommend, as would all 6 in our party.

  • I am so impressed with how awesome everyone is. They took care of us from the moment we got there. The course we drove on was so much fun, prepare yourself to get dirty! We stopped at a Tequila tour, we learned about true Agave Tequila and got to taste what they had to offer. They were not shy about sharing their delicious drinks. We had an amazing lunch which is included along with 2 beers at the end. Do not wear your hat while cruising on the dune buggy, it will fly off haha, that's the only con I would have to say. AMAZING AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!

  • Had a great time on this excursion! We were a group of 14. Lots of fun. Started with a 25 minute drive though the town to the ruins. Then off to the quarry for a little dune buggy fun. It had not rained in a little while so there was no water to drive though but we had a great time anyways. Then off to the tequila factory for a tour and tasting and of course we left with a couple bottles. Back to the beach club for a great lunch of fajitas or quesadillas. Never pressured to buy anything. Had a couple little issues with the buggies but no big deal. They were there to take care of us. They do offer cart insurance for 20 per cart. We got it because we didn't want any issues in Mexico just in case. Take sunglasses for the wind and dirt! Didn't snorkel because it was too windy. I would recommend this tour if you like to be out in the open and have fun.

  • It was easy to take the ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel this was not part of the tour.
We walked from the ferry to the pickup site. When we got into our dune buggy none of the seatbelts worked. Our tour guides dune buggy died a couple blocks away, we had to drive him to the lot to pick up a new buggy. Our second gear was very tricky. Because of this I didn't feel comfortable driving, my husband drove the entire way.

Our first stop was the Mayan ruins. Those were nice to see.
We then went on to what we were looking forward to, the off roading! While it was fun, it was basically a rock quarry/dump. Not at all what I was expecting. This is not on a beach at all.

The next stop was for a tequila tour and sampling. The tour was nice, the tequila is amazing. The end goal is to sell you tequila, but there wasn't too much pressure.

From there we went to the club where you snorkel and get lunch. The snorkeling is on your own, it's not guided unless you tip one of the club workers. We brought our own snorkel equipment so we can't comment on their gear. This is also where we had lunch. The food was very good.

Overall it was a fun tour. How it's ran is the dune buggy company contracts with these other businesses to string a tour together. Other than the dune buggy portion you're kind of on your own.

  • The vehicle is scary - barely operational and drives like a carnival bumper car. There is no windshield, and you must drive around the island - it can get windy and it burns your eyes, so make sure you have sunglasses. 1 vehicle broke down and we were haggled to buy stuff from a vendor where we sto

  • Our guide was Francisco, and he showed us a terrific time. It was raining a bit in the morning, so the rain stung a little on our faces going so fast in the dune buggy, but overall we had a fantastic time, and Francisco made sure we had a ton of fun, taking us to remote parts of the island not accessible by car or closed to tourists. Relaxing on the beach and snorkeling, along with the lunch, were a perfect way to cap this adventure. We found it well worth the money and recommend this adventure to anyone looking to have fun. Just be advised that you will have to pay a mandatory 20 for insurance the morning of your trip. That cost is not included in the price of this package, and put a bit of a sour taste in our mouths, but a lot of adventures on the island use this awful trick.
