Know More about this tour

The meeting with our guide will be at San Clemente's Basilica. Here the guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name.
San Clemente is a very unique church! It is built on three different levels: in just one site you will be able to admire a 1st century Roman House, a 2nd century Mithraeum (where there was the worshippen of Mithra) and a 4th century Early Roman Basilica. With the help of images and visual aids, our private guide will show you how it was and how it is. This visit will be like travel through times!
After the visit of San Clemente's Basilica, you will go with your guide to the Crypt of the bones (walking. If you wish you can take a taxi to be paid on site). This crypt, already known as the Capuchin crypt, is made by real human bones of the Capuchin frari. Walking down via Veneto , you will reach Trevi fountain. Under the famous fountain, are hidden the rests of the ancient acqueduct of Rome. You can see just a little part of it but it's worth!
