  • My husband and I really enjoyed our walking tour with guide David. He was thorough and very knowledgeable about the city.

  • Our guide was David, and he was truly extraordinary. He was energetic, smart, and engaged readily in conversations. we asked him many questions, and he always responded thoroughly and in a very friendly manner. he showed us a lot, and even went over the allotted time to make sure we saw everything

  • most knowledgeable. Fun time with lots of incite. Definitely recommend

  • A fabulous, thorough, informative, and educational tour! Our guide, David Rodriguez, was very knowledgeable and interesting. He even gave us a little gift at the beginning of the tour. We have been on many tours, in the USA and Europe, and have never had a guide do this before. It's the thought definitely counts!

  • David was a great host and made this tour very enjoyable. His tour was thorough and comprehensive and we walked all around Old San Juan seeing all the highlights of the town. David had an in depth knowledge of the history of Puerto Rico from colonial times to recent history. He related a lot of monuments, buildings, and other structures to people and events throughout recent history and even colonial history. This tour helped me understand the vital role that PR played in various American-European wars and in the Spanish inquisition of the Americas. Not only was this informative but it was also entertaining. A great highlight to my trip in PR!

  • David gave a very enjoyable and informative tour of Old San Juan. We learned a lot about the history of Puerto Rico and various spots in Old San Juan. We had been to the city a few times, but it is much more meaningful having a guide explain to you the meanings of certain sights. David is very knowledgeable and showed us interesting places. We especially enjoyed going into the El Convento Hotel which used to be a convent and the Cathedral.

  • Our guide, David, is remarkably knowledgeable about Puerto Rican history, is eager to share his knowledge, and very friendly. He showed us hidden away places we would not have found on our own, and gave us great tips about other things to do and see. One of the best and most interesting tours we've been on.

  • David Rodriquez was an excellent guide, because Monday is a slow day or because of the gov't shutdown some sites were closed.

  • David really knows his business. We arrived about 15 minutes late since our taxi driver was lost, and still he was waiting for our group with a smile, bottled water and a gift for us. He gave us lots of information on the city and its history, and gave us lots of good suggestions on things to do and places to eat. He even told us to let him know when we wanted a picture on a place and he would take it. The description says it takes about 2hrs but our tour lasted longer that that, Id say over 3hrs, and he managed to keep us interested and informed during all that time. If you have a few hours to spend in old San Juan and want to know in deep about their history, DO book this tour.

  • Excellent tour and tour guide! Great value! The guide was very responsive with instructions, confirming the tour and meeting place, and answering questions the day before my tour. Extremely professional and even gave us little gifts. It wasn't a private tour but sure felt like one! I've been to San Juan several times, and never realized how much I didn't know. The tour gave me real insights and made the San Juan experience much more meaningful.
