Know More about this tour

Our bus will wait you outside your hotel very early in the morning and you will move to Aswan. You will arrive after about 4 hours but during the journey you can make as many stops as you want. Don't hesitate to ask! About 15 km outside Aswan we will stop to observe a masterpiece of engineering: the High Dam. You will be surprised by his greatness and splendor. After some minutes that we will let you to take some photos we will go to take a small boat and we will go to visit one of the most beautiful places of the entire Egypt: the Temple of Philae. The specialty of this temple is that it was entirely taken apart and put back on an island close to the first one, which it was designed for. The reason for this feat was the construction of the dam that caused the raising of water to the point that it covers many islands, including one on which the building stood. There are many stories related to this structure: your guide will tell you with great pleasure! The most curious legend told that inside this temple Isis found the heart of Osiris, after he was killed by his brother Seth. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant and it will be a good opportunity to taste the Egyptian food. After this stop that will allow you to recover your strength we'll move towards red granite quarries, that made this area famous worldwide. One last thing: you will see with your own eyes the well-known "unfinished obelisk", which was supposed to be about 42 meters. The story tells that during his carving, a huge rift appeared immediately without that workers could make something to remedy. The Obelisk was so neglected and started with the development of a new block of stone. In the afternoon we will continue towards Marsa Alam to get to your hotel in the evening.
