Begin your Rio city tour by traveling to Corcovado Hill to visit the greatest national icon The Christ Redeemer Statue of Rio de Janeiro.

On the way, you will see Copacabana beach, Botafogo Soccer Club, Federal University, Guanabara Palace, the official residence of the States Governor, Fluminense Soccer Club and So Judas Tadeu Church. By Van reach Tijuca forest, make a stop at Paineiras to board the vehicles of the National Park Authority. The visit to the monument lasts some 45 minutes.

Afterward, reach the almost centenary Sugar Loaf cable-car station (the first service in South America and the worlds third oldest). On the way see the Yacht Club, Institute Benjamim Constant, for the blind and the National Institute for Mineral Resources. Visit Urca Hill (200m) and Sugar Loaf (395m). Stay around 30 minutes at the top of Sugar Loaf.

For the lunch you'll have the opportunity to enjoy  at a buffet lunch. 

Continue the tour with a panoramic visit of Maracan Stadium. You'll then make a stop at Bellini's statue and a stop at the Sambadrome (the stadium for the citys main Carnival parade). Continue the tour with a visit to the cone-shaped Metropolitan Cathedral, not only one of the Brazilian city's landmarks, but also a masterpiece of modern art.

Then, visit the bohemian neighborhood of Lapa, the Escadaria Selarn one of the most fascinating and original staircases in the world. See the So Bento Monastery, which has been compared to a museum, and has a monastic simplicity making it one of the most beautiful architectural complexes in Brazil. On the way back, along Aterro do Flamengo, you'll see the Museum of Modern Art, the Monument to the Fallen in World War II, the Church of the Outeiro da Glria, the beaches of Flamengo and Botafogo and return to hotels via Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon.
