The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. The original entrance to the Great Pyramid is on the north, 17 meters (56 ft.) vertically above ground level and 7.29 meters (23.9 ft.) east of the centerline of the pyramid. From this original entrance, there is a Descending Passage 0.96 meters (3.1 ft.) high and 1.04 meters (3.4 ft.) wide, which goes down at an angle of 26 31'23" through the masonry of the pyramid and then into the bedrock beneath it. After 105.23 meters (345.2 ft.), the passage becomes level and continues for an additional 8.84 meters (29.0 ft.) to the lower Chamber, which appears not to have been finished. There is a continuation of the horizontal passage in the south wall of the lower chamber; there is also a pit dug in the floor of the chamber.

The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, Egypt, northwest of the city of Memphis. The 6-tier, the 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. It was built in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser
The mastaba of Mereruka is the largest and most elaborate of all the non-royal tombs in Saqqara with 33 rooms or chambers in total. Mereruka was the vizier to king Teti, who was the first pharaoh of the 6th dynasty Old Kingdom period of Egypt
Dahshur pyramids were an extremely important learning experience for the Egyptians. It provided them with the knowledge and know-how to transition from steep-sided pyramids to smooth-sided pyramids. Ultimately their breadth of experience would allow them to build the Great Pyramid of Giza; the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing to this date.

We had a fantastic, informative tour throughout Giza today with Aslaam and Nasser. We saw the incredible pyramids, from Giza to Saqqara, and ended off with a delicious lunch. Suitable for vegan, veggies, and meat eaters. Aslaam also stopped off at his local shops to get treats and mango juice- which was amazing. Highly recommended to get the inside scoop on all of the attractions, and not get hassled by anyone.

Nasser the guide was amazing! Thoughtful, patient and knowledgeable! Was fun and funny traveling through the pyramids with him. Mohammad the driver was excellent and really made feel safe on the road. They are very much cool Zalame’s!

Mr Nasser is an excellent tour guide. He showed us the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara and we visited Ramses II statute in Memphis. He also explained in detail the history behind the pyramids, including the Pharaohs who built them, the type of stone used for the different pyramids and where the stones came from. For lunch he took us to a small local kebab restaurant. The food quality was excellent and had plenty number of dishes. It was an enriching day visiting and learning about these ancient sites. Would definitely recommend.

What to say after such an amazing day! This fantastic tour started with Nasser picking us up at our hotel, and though we were late, both him and Yessir never pressed us for time and accommodated our schedule. We got to see and visit incredible architectural sites including the pyramids, the Sphinx, Memphis and Saqqara and the day ran smoothly; not only was Nasser a great historian, but he also answered to all of our questions and treated us like family. Communication was great, and we felt safe at all times! Lunch was fantastic (a true Egyptian meal with super tasty starters and an incredible warm home-made pita bread) and they even had the hospitality to invite us to some fresh mango juice, free snacks and took us to the closest ATM on our way back to our request. Yessir was a very skilled driver and he always brought the car closest to the site. In summary, we highly recommend this tour to any travelers coming to Egypt! Thank you, Nassir and Yessir!

As a cynical tourist, I consider the below to be high praise indeed, so take it in the spirit intended....complete candor. From the beginning, Mr. Nasser was professional and helpful. He was aware of the perceptions that tourists have about being taken advantage of and attempted to clear those up from the outset. He sorted out our tickets to the Giza pyramids and our camel rides. He provided explanations when appropriate and was always available but never obtrusive as we toured Giza. He was also quite kind to our children, which was appreciated. As a frequent tourist understands, tour guides have relationships with other service providers and often help each other out. Mr. Nasser brought us to a papyrus shop and a perfume shop as “cultural experiences”. Each location did offer a brief demonstration/educational talk, but each was clearly geared toward a tourist sales pitch rather than merely ‘culture’, but we consented and thus it was our choice to go. I mention this only to say that while I do recommend Mr. Nasser for a tour of Giza, I recommend requesting to avoid the sales shops unless you are determined to go and learn about paper and perfume. Overall, I believe Mr. Nasser is an honest man who provides an honest service and who is working within the standard Egyptian tourism system. He was never insistent about where we went and never once pushed anything on us. He offered information, guidance and experiences for us to choose from. I would certainly recommend him to use for a Giza tour.

Mr Nasser is very knowledgeable and he has great patience and can explain the history multiple times till you get it straight.hr is very active and joveal , very apt for a tourist guide. He know almost every one and it makes your movement inside the tourist places smooth and faster. His knowledge on the history of Egypt is vast and you can keep talking hours on it and he will explain tirelessly. I had almost run out of cash and he lent me enough with out any hesitation to be repaid later . I would recommend to book Mr. Nasser on all of your tours to make it a meaningful trip.

The day started with Mr. Nasser and a private driver meeting me at my hotel and from there we drove to the great pyramids. Entry to see the pyramids was free but I paid an extra 360 Egyptian pounds to enter the great pyramid. Mr. Nasser also set up a picture on top of a camel for me and I paid extra to take a tour ride on a camel around the pyramids and Sphinx. From there we made a couple stops to a papyrus museum and a perfume shop. We stopped at a few other attractions that included the great Ramses statue. To finish the day we had a lunch that was paid for and then I was dropped off at my hotel. I highly recommend Mr. Nasser, he was polite and educated.
