  • Interesting and educational.

  • Porto has much to enjoy and be part of as a tourist. Our guide could project his voice better and give more attention to the explanations he is trying to express. The cruise was not really connected to the tour and was not well coordinated . Porto is a vivid city with an obvious desire to showcase to tourists.

  • There was not sound and description of the tour.

  • When I booked this, the name implies at least to me we would be cruising down the river tasting wine. It was a good historical tour - an interesting walk and talk through the rail station and other sites in Porto and then port tasting. Extremely interesting but the bridge cruise seemed like an after thought.

  • Guide was great! Very kind and informative. But we only made two stops and then a wine tasting. One of those stops was a train station. Very beautiful, but was not listed on the Viator website as a stop. Also, after the wine tasting we were dropped off at the boat for a 6 bridges tour and told we were on our own to get back to the hotel. That's not what the Viator website advertises. Viator and this tour operator need to get together and make the tour promised is the one provided. Again, the guide was great. But based on our tour, I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

  • Porto was spectacular and the 6 bridge cruise was excellent. Our guide took us to the Cathedral, railway station to show us the Azul blue tiles depicting historic scenes. I had seen the station in Michael Portillo's Great European Rail Journeys but to see them close up was magnificent. The visit to Cockburn's winery was also fantastic and for those people who know nothing about the wine trade you will be fascinated. My purpose for visiting Porto was to follow the historical trading treaty with Britain which is unbroken for over 600yrs hence the major British influence in the Porto area. The barrels of wine were transported to Bristol and stored in limestone caves dug into a cliff. Make sure you are fit because the roads to the river valley are very steep. Our guide drove us to the riverside but getting back can be exhausting so use the funicular rail to get to the top and if you are on the other side of the river the cable car is the best way to get back to the top.

  • We enjoyed this trip our guide Ricardo was nice and kept us entertained and informed, we were late for the Six Bridges Cruise however we were able to use our tickets the next day.The crew on board were very nice and as we were sitting inside we were given headphones to enjoy the commentary.

  • Thank you for the tour Claudia! Very nice tour guide and very sweet! She's informative and great at what she does!

  • We were the only English speaking travelers on an otherwise all Spanish tour. The guide did his best to catch us up to what he originally said in Spanish, but he spoke at great length with them and then only a little bit with us. They were getting the broad strokes and we were getting the shorthand version. Maybe it would have been better if he had spoken for a bit in Spanish and then a bit in English, back and forth, like that so to have been more comprehensive. I'm not sure that we saw the best sights of Porto, but what was saw was interesting. The tour guide did his best to share antidotes. The port tasting was fun. Because we had lunch plans, we were given a voucher for the river cruise, but were unable to use it because after our late lunch, we got into a cab with a driver that couldn't speak or understand anything we were saying so he dumped us off on a side street and we couldn't find where the boat tours were! Pretty disappointing ending to an otherwise interesting day.

  • Porto is an Awesome city, and our guide Antonio was so informative and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our city tour, Port Wine Tasting and six bridges tour. This was a great way to end our holiday in Portugal. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto!
