Feel free to roam about the two enclosed decks and the third open-air deck to find the ideal spot aboard. The cruise offers full live commentary in English and French, as well as pre-recorded historical commentary in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin.
The Empress of Ottawa has daily departures from two locations to best serve you: Jacques Cartier Park Wharf in Gatineau (Hull Sector) and at the base of the Rideau Canal locks below the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa. Boarding starts 10 minutes prior to departure.

- If you cancel within 3 calendar days (72 hours) of the scheduled departure time, the cancellation charge will be 100% of the undiscounted tour price.
- If you cancel between 4 to 7 Calendar days before scheduled tour departure,the cancellation charge will be 50% of the undiscounted tour price.
- If you cancel at least 8 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure time, there is no cancellation fee. You will receive Full Refund for the paid amount.
- Please note that in case of No show, the cancellation charge will be 100% of the listed tour fare.
- Please note tours booked using discount coupon codes will be non refundable.

It was a fun tour with beautiful views. Lasted about 75 minutes with a quick stopover at dock in Gatineau.
Leave plenty of time. You'll need to park at the National Gallery, and it's a long walk down to the Rideau canal locks -

Lovely way to see the city, very relaxing especially if the weather is pleasant. Was not easy to find the departure point, lots of kiosks before we found the right one.

The guides read word for word the sights we were viewing from the boat. I appreciate English is not their first language, but their reading skills were atrocious! Very unprofessional. Sights were beautiful, but we were left with so many questions about what we saw. No off script commentary at all.
