  • Sent message to confirm pick up time and nearest pick up point prior to tour start. This was great since our Riad had no road access and this applies to many riads in Marrakech! Our tour guide Mr Norl was friendly and accommodating to my elderly mother whom has difficulty walking for too long. He was fluent in English and very knowledgeable when being asked many questions. We enjoyed Ait Ben Haddou, such a mesmerizing place and worth the 3-4hrs drive through the Atlas mountains where there were a few photo stops. Ouarzazate, however, was not our cup of tea. We found that it was more like a film set and aimed at tourists whom wanted to know what movies were set there and how the movie industry runs etc. In future we would return to Ait Ben Haddou only as it is a long trip and driving in Morocco is a little scary!

  • Great experience in Ait Ben Haddou! The driver-guide was also very kind and supportive.

  • The driver and the guides were excellent. They showed up on time to pick us up even though our location was not the easiest to find. The camel ride was fantastic. I was glad that there were only 4 of us on the tour as it was a long day with lots of driving. The only negative was the food, the restaurant was very busy and our food was over cooked and not very flavorful, I would suggest eating at one of the smaller restaurants.

  • Great trip, long way but well worth it to see both the Kasbah's and have knowledgable local guides. Historically informative without being too heavy and we stopped for photos outside the film studios. I did not give 5 stars because there were not enough camels for all the riders. This is not a negative point but an observation as for the non-riders they had to wait until each party returned to enable the next to go. It did not change the trip and I would recommend, this. Note that the roads are winding through the Atlas Mountains and are around 4 hours each way from Marrakesh.

  • It gives you a general insight of the region which astonishing, but very limited time, everything is very rushed. It's overpriced. The lunch, the camel ride or even the guided tours don't cost such amount of money. If you eventually rent a car better to do it on your own to control the time you wanna spend and plus the cost will be lower. To be mistaken you won't spend more than than few minutes in Ouarzazate, most of the time is spent in Ait Ben Haddou. The camel ride is on the road and they don't treat very well the camels.
The driver was good, very good mood trying to be positive about everything. Overall enjoyable but I don't recommend.

  • We had a very nice driver, who did a great job of telling us stories and taking breaks for us to see wonderful views from the Atlas Mountains. He was also very conscientious towards my grandmother and had come up with ways that she could still enjoy the tour without over-exerting herself. Overall, it was a wonderful day, and I truly feel this is a must-see when visiting Marrakesh. The drive is long, but well worth it!

  • Spectacular ! Really enjoyed the rugged beauty of the Altas mountains. We were able to stop and take photographs of the elevated scenery before we continued to the Anti Atlas for a camel ride and then onto the Kasbah at Ben Haddou. We continued onto Ouartzazate where we took a tour of the film studios. Very enjoyable day. Our guide and driver did an amazing job. Only criticism was long day and mini bus was a bit cramped

  • Good tour but very long day.

  • Very long day, but the drive was scenic and the sites were interesting, I am glad we decide to do this tour.

  • Our driver did not speak for the first couple of hours after picking us up. My traveling companion tried asking him a question about the town we were driving through and his answer was brief and he seemed annoyed by the question. The first time he spoke was to point out bee hives along the side of the road and to tell us that the honey in that area was superior to what you can buy in Marrakech. He then drove us straight to a store that sells argan oil and honey, where we were giving a sales spiel and offered overpriced wares.
Our tour in Ourzazate consisted primarily of a guide listing off movies, actors, and years in a monotone voice or complaining about the people who ran the kasbah. A complete waste of time and very boring.
Lunch was ok, and Ben Haddou had a much nicer guide but he did not tell us anything about the kasbah's history or what we were actually looking at.
We chose the camel ride and the guide was very sweet. I guess it's one of those things you want to check off your been there, done that list.
As we drove back the driver was a lot more personable, I'm guessing this would be because we're getting closer to tip time.
He did not drop us off at our riad, but about 15-20 minutes walking distance away, after dark.
I would not recommend this tour and am sad that it took up the majority of one of our precious few days in Marrakech.
