This private tour for small groups takes you on a memorable journey aroundthe key shoot locations featured in the popular TV drama series, Outlander. With an expert guide who will share great anecdotes about the cast, filming and production, youll be transported into the historical world of Jamie and Claire, the show's two main protagonists.

Day 1: Glasgow - Glasgow
Meet your guide at your Glasgow hotel at 9am and headeastward toward the first stop of your tour: the impressive fortress on the banks of the River Forth that doubled as Fort William, the stronghold of infamous Black Jack Randall.

From here, travel to the fictional Lallybroch, Jamies childhood home in the series, and admire the 16th-century tower house, a favorite with Outlander fans.

Next, its on to the home of the series Duke of Sandringham, a mansion that is probably Scotlands flagship stately home. Enjoy views of the iconic Forth Rail Bridge on route to this stunning house, whose grounds were the settingfor a duel between Jamie and Black Jack, and which served as a Parisian street location in Season 2.

Continue to the fictional town of Cranesmuir, a wonderfully preserved example of a 17th-century town where its easy to imagine Jamie and Claire wandering the cobbled streets. Here, see many of the sights that starred in the series, including the Mercat Cross and beautiful, stepped garden of Culross Palace, used as Claires herb garden. Season 2's Vengeance Is Mine episode was largely filmed here.

After lunch (own expense), pass the Kelpies, Scotlands newest tourist attraction, on route to the next destination: Callendar House. Your final stop is the location that was the real-life birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, and cast as Wentworth Prison, where Jamiewas incarcerated.

Day 2: Glasgow Glasgow
After hotel pickup, the first leg of your tour takes you into Stirlingshire to see the 14th-century castle used as Castle Leoch, the home of the MacKenzie clan.

From here, you'llventure to the magnificent gardens that stood in for the Palace of Versailles, andwhich providedthe setting for Jamie and Claire's meeting with Black Jack Randall.

Then,visit the church used as a backdrop for Season Is witch trials: a wonderfully atmosphericplace and lovely stop onyour tour. Next comes a historical chapel where Rupertlost an eye: afantastic example of a small medieval Scottish church. While here, pause to listen to the babbling brook that runs beside the building.

After lunch (own expense), youll head to fictional Mrs Bairds Guesthouse in the town that doubled as 1940s Inverness, where you can try and spot Jamies ghost looking for Claire.

Yourfinal stop is the location that substituted as the French port of Le Havre in the opening episode of Season 2.
