5th January 2023 - Wonderful experience with our guide David Dales. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that the two hours just flew: lots of history and some Morse in the package! David was freindly, interesting and he had the answers to all our questions, without ever being pedantic. It was probably the best part of our nine-day holiday in Oxford. Maxim & Flora

Lucy was a fabulous and delightful guide. She loves the place and loves what she does. Best bits were the little known factlets she shared - for example she pointed out the wren hidden in the back of one of the Christopher Wren statues.
-
Suzanna’s tour held everyone’s attention including younger members of our group, her knowledge of the areas we visited was incredibly informative and interesting
-
Great tour with our guide Hannah. She was knowledgeable and entertaining and inspired enthusiasm despite the cold and wet weather. We had the opportunity to go into one of the colleges. Really recommend doing the tour in the morning if you can and pre-booking Christchurch College and Bodleian Library tours for the afternoon ( if you want to do those).

Whilst on a company well- being event in Oxford we booked this tour and our guide was Jonathan . The tour itself covered the university and city and explained the history and relationship between the two . Jonathan was a mine of information and was a lot of fun making the university part especially interesting as he had been a student there himself. This intimate knowledge of college life and inter college rivalries added an extra dimension. For any Morse or general film buffs it was again fun to learn of the buildings and parts of the cities that had been used in various films and series from Morse ( and the subsequent spin offs ) Harry Potter to Brideshead revisted.

I had a great experience. Good introduction to the city and its history. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Lucy, our guide was enthusiastic, informative and the right mix between imparting knowledge and enjoyable stories about University life, first rate!
-
Highly recommended! Engaging stories about Oxford inhabitants, the way university and colleges operate. Interesting facts!
-
The tour guide was knowledgeable. She was able to talk about Oxford for 2 hours, but they weren’t very entertaining. There was no continuous story, just a list of graduates from each college, how much some colleges cost to build, and their benefactors.

My tour guide, David, was amazing. He shared so much historical knowledge about different colleges in Oxford, events that took place there over hundreds of years, and incorporated his personal life stories while growing up in Oxford and sharing childhood memories about various streets and parks he used to visit with his grandfather, that it gave so much more meaning to the history of this amazing medieval city to me as a tourist visiting it for just a few days. David shared the story of “town v gown” that I never knew about Oxford. Needless to say, this tour will be in my memory for the rest of my life. Thank you very much for being so passionate about the history of this amazing place and sharing it with me that day!
