🌴Visit to Palm Springs to the Aerial Tramway with @ramdhakne_norcal ☀️ A gondola takes you on a scenic ride up the cliffs of Chino Canyon to Mount San Jacinto. The tramway offers breathtaking views of the Coachella Valley and surrounding mountains. 🏔️Once at the top, you can explore hiking trails, enjoy the natural beauty, and experience cooler temperatures, difference between valley floor to top is 39 degrees F. Definitely advisable in heat. You should check the tramway's website for on hours of operation and any special guidelines before your visit. 🍴We had dinner at the restaurant at the top right before sunset to take in the spectacular views. It was a nice restaurant for a special occasion to celebrate.

The state of California City of Palm springs is ridiculous charging over $12 to pull past the gate Palm springs aerial tramway ,where you got to pay the US forestry officer bounty to cross the gate this is ridiculous we pay our taxes all these should be free to the public the US forestry departments ridiculous State of California Palm springs charging people to drive past the gate that's the first problem. Palm springs aerial tramway is a joke charging families in these tough times our taxes pay for this you should be able to pull up to the tramway for free not have to pay the troll at the gate money to get to the aerial Palm springs tramsway

Fun cool views with nice hikes available at the top. Perfect getaway for a couple of hours while in Palm Springs. Check it out.

Loved the ride up, sights from the station at the top, and hike that followed. Surprised how little oversight and assistance there is once you get into the trails. We actually got lost after taking a wrong turn and wound up on some dodgy footing, but managed to make it back unscathed. The walk back up the switch-back to the Tram takes some effort so be prepared. The temperature at the top was a wonderful 62degrees (compared to 110° at the bottom.). Go early!

I loved the views. It felt relaxing and was definitely a great way to spend the evening. Next time I go I will definitely try some of the nature walks.

The ride up, and the view at the top. The nice crisp air, the whole ambiance. The food was also amazing

Had kids with us, one that is afraid of heights, but he was a trooper. Everyone was a little scared at first including the others on the tram. Purposely went at sunset. But by the end our 9 year olds were dancing around. Will do this again with my husband next time

Really enjoyed the way to the top, even though the tram was very crowded. I hadn't been to a cable car with a rotating platform and it was so unique. I was expecting the cart to rotate on the way to the bottom to the top, and I thought that this time I would enjoy it even more as it was much less crowded, but there wasn't a rotation on the way back down. If visiting on a weekend, it's best to get tickets more than a week in advance, otherwise, you may have to wait for 30 minutes to an hour for the next available ride.

We really enjoyed the tram ride, but it did seem a little pricey once we realized the walk to get down to the main trails was going to be more strenuous than we prepared for. At $30 each plus another $15 to park, I'm not sure it was quite worth the price this trip since we were restricted to the views we were able to see from around the building. That being said, the view were fantastic and the young ranger that talked with us about the woodpeckers he was caring for was very friendly and informative. Now that we know what to expect, next time we will bring more water, better shoes and a picnic lunch. The memento pictures that were taken felt like a bit of a money-grab since we were not able to purchase an individual photo and were forced to buy a packet at $35. We declined, but would gladly have paid $10 for one picture.
