Know More about this tour

Meet your guide in central Palma de mallorca, put on your helmet and then pedal away through the streets. The pace is leisurely, allowing you to listen to your guide, and soak up all the sights as you go. Several stops are factored in to your itinerary for photos and stories about key landmarks, too.

Follow a cycle path down to the old harbor, and the pass along the seafront and through the twisting streets of Palma de mallorca Old Town. Admire pretty churches such as the Basilica of St Francesco, cut through Parc de la mar, and pedal alongside the old city walls.

After listening to tales about the citys history, make a stop by Palma cathedral (La Seu) to pose for photos in front of its magnificent Gothic facade. Hear how the stately place of worship was built on the site of an old Arab mosque, and learn about Antoni Gaudi the Modernist genius responsible for some of the cathedrals interior features.

Continue through Plaza Espaa and several pretty streets before stopping outside a beloved city tapas bar. If you have upgraded to include tapas, head inside! Alternatively, make your way back to the start point, passing along Borne Avenue and soaking up sights of Bellver castle and the Port.

Inside the tapas bar, treats await. Enjoy a drink (perhaps wine, beer or a soft drink) and enjoy three plates of tapas. As with most authentic Spanish tapas bars, the menu changes daily. However, you can expect some tasty local treats, perhaps a grazing plate of local cheese and ham or the ubiquitous patatas bravas (crispy Canarian potatoes, smothered in a spicy tomato sauce).

After feasting on the tapas, make your way back to the start point, following the same route as described above.

Our tour was perfect! We only had a short day to experience the city and the team were fantastic. All the riding was relatively easy and with regular stops we didn’t get tired at all. Thoroughly enjoyed and our guide was the best! Thank you

We had a great time on this tour. The equipment was well maintained. The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We were able to cover many areas which would otherwise take too long on foot. The visit to the Convent of Capuchin Nuns was a special treat. Their homemade cookies and ice cream are outstanding. The tapas and wine was also very good. I highly recommend this tour.

Of our almost two weeks traveling the Mediterranean, the bike tour of Palma was our favorite tour! Sanders was very knowledgeable and multi-lingual, switching from English to German to Catalan without missing a beat. He kept a very manageable pace for our group of about 15 cyclists as we made our way from the main drive near the port (a good walk from the cruise ship but not bad, we taxied back after) to the old city. I highly recommend doing the tapas and beer option for the break!

If you want to try something different when visiting Palma Mallorca, this is it. Tour guide was very informative while taking us down narrow streets that a tour bus cannot. Maybe a hill or two that could easily be walked up if having difficulty biking, but despite this it was a great time. If coming in via cruise, they have a bike shop almost directly across from where we docked. We we sent to their shop in town. But they were accommodating in letting us all return the bikes to the one closest to the ship for a short walk back.

It was a great experience to see Mallorca by bike, different from the ordinary walking tours. Maurice was very nice and gave us some nice tips for the rest of our stay in Mallorca also.

This was the highlight of my trip. Our guide,Jaime, was awesome. He was personable, knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. He asked us a couple times if he could extend the tour because there were more things he wanted to show us. There were only 4 of us on the tour, so it was an intimate tour. Palma is beautiful and without the use of bikes, we would never have seen as much as we did. I was nervous because I am not an avid bike rider and wasn't sure if we would be on main roads. Most of the journey is on small back roads we probably would not have explored on our own. We did the 4:00 tour in February, so we were able to experience Palma both by day and night. The tapas were great also.

A great way to experience a city. From now on our favorite way to explore a new destination. Will definitely recommend. Our guide was very knowledgeable.

Excellent tour that brings you to areas of Palma you probably wouldn't venture to on foot. If I was back there I would do it again.
Tour guide James was very knowledegable and lovely to deal with . Would highly recommend adding on the tapas option at the end as this is delicious.
The only negative was that there was a lot of problems with the bikes which would seem to stem from a lack of maintenance. We had six people in our group and three of the bikes had problems ranging from chains breaking to seats falling off ! At one point James had to leave us and bring one broken bike back to the bike shop to get a replacement which obviously delayed us.

Once again... another great tour led by a local who is proud and in love with his city. A great way to get to know this beautify city!
