After reading the description (😉) the tour provides everything it says and even a little more! It was so fun walking through Casco Viejo, learning, drinking, and tasting everything that Panama has to offer! Nicole did such a good job not only leading the tour and conveying her knowledge but also promoting an exceptional atmosphere! It really felt like you were a part of Panamanian culture and everyone left as friends! Thanks, Nicole and Barefoot Panama Tours!

Exactly what is stated in the experience...not much food and not much history/guidance. "foodie-focused tour" should be removed. People are probably loath to leave a true review with all the negative feedback from the owner when honest.

Our tour guide, Janet was great. While on the tour we got to sample chocolate, beers, coffee, rum, and ceviche. Since this is named/advertised as a food tour I do wish there were more food options included, but we did enjoy our time with Janet learning about the history of Panama and strolling thru Casco Viejo. The views from the rum tasting restaurant rooftop are absolutely beautiful at night!

I really enjoyed the guide. Jorge was very knowledgeable and friendly but I would not have called it a food tour. There was more beverage than food. It was the first time I finished a food tour hungry.
-
Jorge was a lovely knowledgeable guide, however this was not a food tour. We tried 1 food and cacao…and then tried coffee, beer and rum. It was more so a beverage and walking tour. We were so hungry after we had to go find dinner somewhere - I think this is mismarketed and should be rewritten as a waking your.

Went to a couple places that I wish I would have known about before the tour. The Food tour is a bit of a misnomer though, only had some food (ceviche) at one stop. A small cup of coffee at the beginning with a bit of chocolate, the rest was alcohol drinks which was ok with me! But, would have liked more food samples.

This tour was very good, we got to taste Geisha coffe, 8 different beers at the popular Rana Dorada bar, Cheviche at one of the famous Fish Market restaurants and we finished off by tasting “abuelo rum” at a great roof top bar/ restaurant which provided fantastic views over the Panama City skyline snd the ocean. Jorge our guide was great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and informative.

Walking through Casco Viejo and sampling several of the delicacies from the local fare. The ambiance was inviting, enjoyed the camaraderie and all within walking distance. Jorge was a nice and informative guide.
-
Not much food tasting. Fish market area was not sanitary and I got sick the next day from the ceviche I’m sure. Should call it a taste of Panama vs food since 2/5 stops for coffee and beer.

Terrific food tour. I especially enjoyed the beer tasting and the ceviche (absolutely fantastic.) Wonderful way to spend an evening. Highly recommended.
