This is a simple tour that is very cheap. I appreciated the mix of activities. We spent a long time at Fort Zeelandia. We also drove around a fair amount just to see the city without necessarily having specific stops. If I went to Paramaribo again, I would probably splurge for a more elaborate tour with some boating and/or time out in the rainforest. However, for the price point, this tour was quite good.

I got to plan for a musical group to play in Suriname. So I made a fan club to come along. Group consistent of 29 total. We had a great time there. We did some tours also. Will return again for sure.

We took the tour from Paramaribo to an ecolodge in . It includes zip lines, kayak and a hike. They did not pick us up and had us go to a meet up point in the middle of the city at 6am, which was ok. However, we later realized that the bus actually takes some of the employees going to the lodge. It would stop every so often to pick up employees. We had asked some other tourists that took a different agency and they got picked up at 8am. I can see how it took us an additional 2 hours picking up the employees that were heading there too. I have no problem sharing the ride with employees but if you charge me a ridiculous amount of money (almost $100 dlls it is a lot on Surinam) and put me in a bus that makes +8 stops and have me be two hours early just to save another trip. I have a problem. The employees are to be picked up everyday anyways. We pretty much paid for everyone's transportation for a couple of days. Moreover, when we arrived there the reception girls were both super rude. The people actually operating the kayaks and zip lines were awesome, but the reception ladies are just angry. We were done a little early and were told we couldn't leave until the bus came back to pick up all the employees for the day.....I don't ever recall a tour where we picked up half of the staff and made so many stops to get to the place. I am just saying please shop around!

There were a group of 6 of us in the city for business. We ended up with the last afternoon free and really wanted to see and get to know the city better. Our hotel reached out to Orange for us and voila and afternoon tour was created. Many attractions close in the afternoon but Vijaita (who is amazing and fun) made sure we had the best experience, answered our unending questions and power walked us through the last 20 minutes the fort was open and took us to areas she knew would interest us. I'll definitely look into further tours with Orange on further trips. My only recommendation would be the ensure they get seat belts in the bus repaired.

Last week I was in Paramaribo and had a morning free. So I booked this City tour with Orange Travel. First things first, they were on time! I've learned and seen so much of Paramaribo. I had a female guide, she was very professional and knows a lot. They even had a timeline from the beginning of Suriname until now, very nice. I would recommend this Tour with Orange travel
