We had a wonderful experience making macarons with chef Anne! Our kids (8 & 11) were engaged the entire time, and it was an activity that was truly fun for the whole family! Afterwards we got to sit down and have coffee and milk and enjoy what we had made - they came out amazing!! Highly recommend!

Fanny was fantastic! Fun, personable and experienced. Three hours flew by and was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my 12 year old daughter. Highly recommend!

We did a private macaron baking class this past week with Fanny, and it was one of the biggest highlights of our family trip to France so far, which is saying a lot :) We are huge fans of our instructor, Fanny, who was friendly, kind, patient, charismatic, funny, and a great teacher! We hope we can come back to Paris again in the future and do another class with her. I highly recommend the private class if you have kids too young to attend a group class (we have an almost 7 yr old son and 10 year old daughter). It was incredibly well orchestrated. The kids have an interest in cooking and baking so that was a great start, but this pushed their experience level in the best way possible, and they absolutely loved the whole experience. Both kids and parents participated in every step and we were all very engaged and had fun the whole way through! We and they couldn't believe how delicious the final product was! We loved sitting down for tea after the class and enjoying our homemade macarons, and we really enjoyed talking to Fanny, a mom herself, who could relate so well to the kids and shared so much knowledge with us about baking/cooking. Overall, excellent experience, highly recommended, and we are going to tell all our friends who like to travel to go here! What an amazing spot! Thank you Fanny and Le Foodist!

Had a wonderful afternoon learning how to make Macarons. The instructor was great very patient and guided the group through every step and broke down the extensive process involved. Highly recommended if you are on a short trip to the city.

My Wife and I have done macaroons earlier - once we did over 500 for a graduation party. As it’s a long time ago and we had some problems we thought a refresher training would be good. We were more than satisfied! Stephen was fabulous in showing how things got easier. He told us about the material used and reasoned why he recommended particular types of boules, silicones, pipes, sieves, colours etc. He recommended stores and we spent the following day upgrading our macaroon kit. He also helped participants understand why something done earlier might have been harder, without finger pointing. As a bonus his recommendation of Amazonia for dinner was great.

Stephan is the consummate professional! His ways of instructing are amusing, relevant, and personable. He has immense people skills and took very good care of us. The pace was doable with no dragging and the end results were remarkable, even for a non-baker such as myself. Thank you, Stephan, for a gloriously memorable and fun experience!

We celebrated our daughters 13th birthday by gifting her this macaron class. She loves to make macarons at home but I hoped she would pick up a few practical tips and learn the proper French techniques. We definitely did! From the mixing technique to the piping to the filling temperatures, etc, Frederic our chef taught these skills in east-to-learn segments throughout this interactive class. We had so much fun and made a wonderful family memory in the process. My 15 year old son (who has never cooked) also really enjoyed the class.
