  • Hugo was amazing! This was a very fun activity and one of the highlights of our trip as my wife loves macarons.

  • I brought my husband with me to this class even though he wasn't keen. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Fredrick is an incredibly funny and talented chef and teacher. He made the class fun and enjoyable. I couldn't fault anything about the class. I would love to try the pastry class too. Loved it!

  • This is excellent! The instructor was very good and guided us through this difficult recipe and made it seem easy! I would definitely sign up for cooking classes with them again!

  • Excellent class. Well explained. Wonderful experience.

  • A fun instructional class! Thoroughly enjoyed making the macaroons and the eating afterwards. Good communication from the provider.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Authentic macarons. A wonderful experience.

  • We thought it was fabulous and very hands on. Fredrick was informative, patient, and humorous. Can hardly wait for our next class which is on making croissants. We highly recommend this class to anyone and any age. The facility was absolutely adorable and we just wanted to pack our bags and move it. Lyn and Dave Poulsen, Arizona, USA.

  • Our chef/teacher Hugo was great! We were a medium sized group, all with lots of questions and varying degrees of skill, and he was enthusiastic, patient, and very skilled at breaking the task down into understandable and easy to follow steps. Explaining the reasons for each one, and the history behind these yummy treats. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. You mostly work with a partner, but even if you take the class on your own, you will be put with someone, and everyone was nice. Even if you feel intimidated and a dud with pastry as I am JUST DO IT! Can't wait to try at home...

  • This was one of the best activities I booked with Viator and the one that garnered the most likes and comments on my Facebook page. It was very hands-on and informative, and Chef Hugo at LeFoodist made it fun! The small class size we were 6 was perfect for instruction and for receiving one-on-one attention when necessary. The macarons we made were comparable to the ones I purchased at Carette and Laduree. No lie! How can you go wrong with dark chocolate buttercream, lemon curd, and vanilla bean buttercream? I highly recommend this cooking class with LeFoodist and Chef Hugo. You won't be disappointed. Plus, you'll leave with a big box of delicious macarons!
