Touring Pere Lachaise cemetery is a must when visiting Paris. Our tour guide Georgia was so friendly, knowledgeable and explained the history behind each grave we visited with such passion and enthusiasm. Both my daughter and I loved not only all the history but walking through the cemetery itself with the help of an amazing tour guide. Thank you Georgia for taking us on this tour as well as your help to find us somewhere local to eat and navigate the metro system. We are still talking about how much we both enjoyed this tour.

Our best tour hands down in Paris. Hugo is a historian. Explained history of Paris as well as particularizing the characters who are buried in Pere Lachaise. He is very intelligent personable and well spoken. 3 hours felt like 3 minutes. 5 stars. Recommend without reservation

My wife and I enjoyed this walking tour so much more than we expected. Yes, we wanted to see Jim Morrison's grave and did. The walking tour provided so much more history and context than we would have been able to gleam on our own. We were fortunate to have François, a local Parisian who had so much history and stories to share and woven into our tour. What a historic place and way to spend a couple of hours appreciating both the cemetery and Paris and some of its most historic, colorful and most permanent citizens!

Tamar was very knowledgeable about the history of the cemetery as well as many people who are laid to rest in this sacred place. She was very personable and kind. I couldn’t have been more pleased. My highest recommendation.

You don't really know what to expect taking a tour through the infamous Pere Lachaise cemetery. Obviously, it's historic and rich with history and famous persons, but you don't expect the non-obvious.... the art of the graves to come to "life". Francois did just that.... able to take the tour on the fly, but bring the stories and history to "life" with enthusiasm and passion. We were able to see more than 25-30 grave sites, and learn so much with so much rich, interesting history that I wouldn't have gotten elsewhere.... Francois brings a love for what he does, and combines it with his wit, and outgoing personality that you are captivated by what happens next! The stories, the photos he shares, the tombs.... it really goes beyond just a tour in a cemetery, but an art history tour that takes you back to the time of each person's history and story. If you want to experience more than just a walking tour of Pere Lachaise, we strongly recommend requesting Francois! There are other sites and sounds of Paris we will want to tour and will be requesting Francois when we come back in 2024! Thank you Francois!

Hugo gave an excellent tour. He not only showed us the famous graves he showed us interesting and unusual ones as well. It was one of the most memorable parts of my trip. Well done, Hugo! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour most memorable. We appreciated his taken photos of us. He even walked us to the nearest taxi place and made sure we were safely on our way back to our hotel. Now, that is full service. Amazing tour and would highly recommend to everyone.
