The tour guide was awesome! The tour went by so quickly; 2 hours wasn't long at all. He made it so much fun, and we learned a lot. I had visited the cemetery before, and I spent a lot of time just trying to find the famous graves. Having a guide provide information and take you to the graves was so helpful and saved time.

Wonderful tour of the the cemetery by Nataliia. Even more impressive that it was her first tour! Learned history of the cemetery and saw several celebrities. Definitely recommend. Great activity to break away from the city crowds as well.

Great tour highlighting some of the more famous graves in Pere Lachaise. You will learn about the history of the graveyard as well as its impact on Paris. This is a must do guided tour when visiting Paris. Our guide Victoire was wonderful! She is so knowledgeable and we enjoyed her thoroughly.

Great tour. We had a smaller group, and it was worth it. We got to see all the major cemetery plots. Our tour guide was funny and well informed

The tour started very slowly (after 45 minutes we had seen two graves), but was unfortunately spoiled by the guide‘s almost total ignorance of Oscar Wilde, who was not presented to us respectfully and was spoken about very negatively. Saying that he „decided“ to become homosexual is highly unlikely to be true. Furthermore, her lazy use of one quote to „prove“ that he was a misogynist shows a fundamental lack of understanding of the highly satirical nature of his works and his attempts to shine a light on the double standards of the day. And she got the name of the only play she mentioned wrong…
