Know More about this tour

Your drive to Belgium takes you through northern France to Bruges, not far from the North Sea in northern Belgium. Bruges is a simply exquisite town. The intact medieval centre of this Unesco World Heritage site looks like a living canvas painted by a Flemish old master.

Upon arrival in Bruges, your guided tour begins with a walk through the city's medieval heart. Highlights include the magnificent Grand Place, quaint houses with elaborately decorated facades, the Halles (an outdoor market with a belfry), the Place du Bourg with the Saint-Sang Basilica, the Gothic-style Town Hall and the Beguine Convent.

In summer (April to October) you'll then take a short cruise down Bruges' canals to see this lovely old city from the water. You'll have free time afterwards to pursue your own interests, perhaps visiting the museums of Flemish art or browsing for handmade lace and Belgian chocolates.

  • Muy caro para lo que dieron. El guía no acompaña ni en el crucero ni a la torre Eiffel y los comentarios del city tour son los mismos que escuchas en el hop on hop off bus, el cual consigues por un día con el París pass.

  • The guided tour and free time Bruges was fantastic, definitely recommend. You may want to consider whether paying the extra for hotel pick up is worth it. In the morning 6:30am a taxi was sent for us, dropped us at the agency where we then still had to line up and check in with a lot of other people. I had thought the pick up would be convenient and get us on our way to Bruges. At the end of a very long day we were dropped back at the agency where they had other drivers waiting to take us back to the hotel.

  • Bus was very comfortable but the ride was too long. 4 hours going and 5.5 hours coming back. The city is beautiful, but the tour was given in English and Italian, so it took twice as long, yet learned virtually nothing about Bruges. Guide was difficult to understand and didn't really tell us much about the town or its history. Perhaps there is none? The guided tour on the ground in Bruges is only about 1 hour long, with the rest being free time to explore. No suggestions on what we should see or do, other than a recommendation on where to buy chocolate. I was disappointed. Tour guide told me she does a different each tour day in Europe, and only comes to Bruges once every 3 weeks. She seemed bored to have to do this tour.

  • Great trip. Loved Bruges could have stayed there. Guides were very informative and couldn't have been nicer.

  • This trip is definitely worth the time you spend in the bus, the city is beautiful and you must take time to try the beer and mussels, but really it needs a few days to be enjoyed on its own.

  • It was really nice to get outside of Paris to see some of the countryside. Bruges was a beautiful little town - very picturesque! Lots of places to buy and try chocolates and waffles everywhere! I wish our English guide would have been a little better to hear as her enunciation was a little off and her voice was quite monotone but other than that we were very pleased to have taken this tour.

  • The bus ride was waaaaay to long eight hours plus total. Made for a very long day! Bruges itself was worth seeing but too high a cost in hours spent on a bus! This tour should come with a warning since there is no restroom in the bus and they make only one stop each way. Also, when you get off the bus and want to start looking around on your own you are warned not too and they hold your boat ride tickets until you follow them for a certain distance. By the time I got off the bus I was fit to be tied and just wanted some freedom.

  • Great trip worth the ride lots to see Guide was great

  • We would not recommend this tour. For an all day tour, most of our time was spent on the bus. Perhaps Bruges is just too far to visit successfully on a one day tour. Bruges itself was interesting, but so touristy that it didn't seem to be worth the experience of getting there. Having taken quite a few Viator tours, this is the first one we have been disappointed with.
