  • Mike gave a great tour. Be sure to see Pearl Harbor when you visit Oahu.

  • Wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable.Went out of his way to make sure we didnt miss anything.

  • Great day cousin Fred was very knowledgeable on Hawaii history

  • Very well organised, picked up by very knowledgable guide, courteous and efficiently saw us through skipping the line. Wonderful film I tro to the history and smoothly moved through all areas, museum, Arizona very moving. Missouri amazing. To and from hotel we were given great tour of highlights and local info on Honolulu. A must do tour.

  • This tour exceeded our expectations. The local operator E Noa Tours had an excellent driver-guide, Rick, who picked us up at our Waikiki hotel on time and linked up with a van that had gathered group members from one or two other hotels. This rendezvous was a much-appreciated time saver since it meant that we had far less down time than if one minibus had to circle through perhaps 4 or 5 different hotels. Rick is an ethnic Hawaiian and lifelong Oahu resident, and besides being authoritative on WWII events, he gave us information about many local traditions. We started the tour with a drive to and through the cemetery at Punchbowl, including a stop to view the grave of Ernie Pyle, visible form the bus near the roadway. Then we drove to the Visitor Center at Pearl Harbor, to spend the next few hours. Rick gave us good overviews of the background of each, as well as practical tips for making the best use of our time. Both the Arizona Memorial and Missouri battleship tours were well done. The former is of course a sacred place and there was not a lot of commentary from anyone as visitors left the Navy-operated boat shuttle and came aboard to pass through the memorial. The Missouri is apparently staffed by volunteer guides, and ours that day was a woman whose presentations were both upbeat/energetic and somber as appropriate. I think it would be a mistake to come to Pearl Harbor and not see the Missouri as well as the Arizona, and this particular tour includes both. We did not take the time to visit the Bowfin submarine, although we could have done so if we had hurried. The lunch at the visitor center was adequate. We had enough time at the end of the day for Rick to drive us into Honolulu and see some of Chinatown, as well as an opportunity to get out of the bus and take photographs at the Royal Palace but not to go inside - it may have been closed by then anyway. We had only one full day in Honolulu and we are very glad we booked this tour for it.

  • Great day trip. Learnt so much. Very poignant. Well worth doing..

  • Don't bring a purse unless you mind checking it and paying 4 to put it in their check-in desk. We wished we could spend more time at the Missouri, but such is life. Then we saw a movie and went to the Arizona. It was an amazing experience as the tour and Pearl Harbor helped us understand what happened that day on December 7, 1941. It was a tour that filled us with emotional ups and downs. Now that we've done this tour we can better plan for our next trip and spend more time at Pearl Harbor.
Thank you Bob for a great tour of the island and Pearl Harbor!

  • Tour was on time and well organised, Driver was local and very knowledgeable but hard to understand, English is my first language I understood about 80 of what was said, with my Wife english is her second language and she understood about half of what was said, the Driver was trying hard to be funny which was quite frustrating as he was hard to understand, it seemed his sense of humour appealed mainly to the Americans present, I found his humour quite negative, the tour itself was educational, once inside the memorial area food and drink was limited and very expensive, the movie theatre was quite emotional, the water shuttle to view the memorials didn't allow us to board the main memorial due to weather which was disappointing but the tour of the Missouri was a good finish.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed Pearl Harbour, did the Arizona Memorial and the Missouri. Was disappointing that due to spending a lot of time driving around the city before getting to Pearl Harbour that we didn’t see everything we wanted at the Pearl Harbour base.
