Know More about this tour

It’s early morning, and as you head towards Honolulu’s infamous Pearl Harbor, your guide provides significant island history and background on what you will see.

Exhibits and artifacts at the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument set the scene, vividly depicting the events of December 1941.  Next, you head by boat to the USS Arizona Memorial, where visitors from around the world pause to reflect; looking down on the ruins of the sunken WWII battleship.  Aboard the nearby USS Missouri, you learn about “Mighty Mo’s” wartime history and see a signed copy of the surrender document that ended the war. Don’t miss the USS Oklahoma Memorial, a monument to those who lost their lives in the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Your  guide takes you through downtown Honolulu and past the historic buildings that were a part of Hawaii’s history as a monarchy, a territory, and as the 50th state.

A drive through Punchbowl Crater, home of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, completes this tour.  Here, 38,000 markers pay tribute to the men and women of the US Armed Forces who have sacrificed for their country.  Throughout the day, your guide shares insightful details about the beautiful island’s place in history.  Experience this “memorial” tour and you will find a new appreciation for Oʻahu and its extraordinary past.

  • We visited Oahu to join up with the Pride of America, the excursion offered on the ship didn't include the USS Missouri so we searched for an independent tour operator that included Pearl Habour and the Missouri. It was an incredible day with the documentary and viewing of the Arizona memorial being particularly emotional, with time to explore further and then move over to the USS Missouri. We had plenty of time and joined one of the guides on the ship. It was a fantastic day out for us after traveling from England, UK. We also booked another trip with Viator whilst on our cruise and cannot fault them, excellent value for money too and above all no worries about timing wth regards to joining or rejoining the ship.

  • Our guide, Mike, was great. Knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining.

  • The Pearl Harbour experience itself was moving and informative. However the highlight of the experience was the bus tour with our driver Shannon. He was extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything to do with Hawaii. He was amazing!

  • Loved it! Our driver was not at all pushy, and made us feel at home. He didn't herd us from place to place, and gave us time to savor everything. He gave us time slots for each activity, but it was up to you how you used it! His knowledge of the islands was impressive, and he was entertaining and fun! The memorial is very moving, and it was good to see all the other sights as well. We only had one full day before moving on the other islands, and this was definitely a good use of our time, and value for money!

  • Just be very wary about any tours at Pearl Harbour. You CANNOT take any bags with you whilst going around the sites. ALL bags have to be put in lockers and you are charged 3 for doing it. Anything you want to take with you will have to go in your pockets. The Arizona is very moving and respectful. However the guides description of I quote ''The signing of the document of surrender on the 2nd September on the Missouri was when America won the war''. Pretty insensitive to the other allies in the group.
On this particular tour there wasn't enough time to fully explore the Mighty Mo

Bus driver was excellent, transport to and from hotel was included. Had time to see some sights in downtown Honolulu.

  • This tour with E Noa Tours went very smoothly. We were picked up at our hotel at the appointed time by Cousin Cliff, who gave an informative and humorous narrative through Honolulu to the Arizona Memorial. Booking the later tour, we were pleased to be able to leave the hotel at a reasonable hour and not have to wait in line for tickets, as this is all handled by the tour company. Time slots for advance ticketing are booked weeks in advance, so that would have been our only option otherwise. All in our party felt the time allotted to the Arizona and the Missouri was sufficient, and Cliff managed our security hurdles expertly. The volunteer guides at the Arizona and Missouri were super. Many reviews I read prior to booking referenced the less than stellar hotdog lunch there are other local favorites options available. If I could change anything, it would be to add the Heart of Missouri to the tour. Overall, a great way to experience Pearl Harbor when you're in Hawai'i.
