Their live show combines amazing sleight-of-hand, large-scale illusions and classic sideshow routines. Known as the "Bad Boys of Magic'' for supposedly revealing the secrets to their tricks, they may show you how it's done, but they still leave you startled!

The Rio itself was dingy and disgusting, but the theater was lovely and the show was EXCELLENT. COMPLETELY worth the time and money to go experience.

We participated in the taping of their show- Fool Us. They did a great job. It was fun to be part of a live show. We got to watch Penn and Teller perform as well as watching guest magicians compete to fool Penn and Teller in the taping of Fool Us

Unfortunately quite disappointed, we bought tickets this is the longest running show in Las Vegas however it was quite dated and not very exciting. I understand their style but we left feeling that there should have been more tricks that we hadn't seen before. I wish we picked another show in Vegas

HORRIBLE! The tricks he performed (since Teller just acts as a stage slave), were cheesy. Cutting of a long rope. They proved how cheesy it was by doing the trick about 20 times. With a bedsheet too. Then they explained the trick and you could see how stupid it was. That was most of the show. My jaw was hanging open as I realized it was going to be over in a half hour. The place was packed. These 172 dollar tickets were a gift. I felt bad for the thousands of people there that came to see trick over and over. I'm trying to think of another trick they did and it's hard. There was a gorilla that banged on pans and appeared in a large cage. I guess that was mildly entertaining. They spent a portion of the show sitting on a table shuffling cards with their feet and yelling at a volunteer who didn't have the right card. Jaw dropping show. But hey, they get people to pay money for that so good for them.

This was my fourth show on this trip to Vegas and my first Magic show. I’ve been a fan of Penn and Teller from TV, but my first time seeing them in person. I thought the show was top notch and entertaining. Each trick had humor and had me amazed. True professionals and a great time.

This was the only show my son said he must watch during our trip to Vegas, and it didn't disappoint him, or us. I have read some of the bad reviews and it seems they saw a different show than we did. Penn did say that they change up the show a lot, so maybe we saw a new and improved one. We bought tickets through AAA website which was cheaper than getting it directly, or from any other website I found. We even bought it the day before which was cheaper than if we had gotten them days before. Rio has free parking which is much appreciated. The show was very enjoyable even if some of the tricks are "old" tricks. Also, there is audience participation prior to the show so get there early, at least if you see the same one we did. Drinks (even water bottles) are not allowed in the venue, other than what you buy from the bar. There is a table outside to put your drink containers on during the show, but we decided to take ours back to the car. There are lots of fun souvenirs you can buy before or after the show.

This was in Manchester, England and I didn't know where else to write this. They did such a terrific show. But what made it was the fact they waited to meet every single fan who queued up to meet them. My favourite act was the shadow on the paper where his thumb started to bleed and it reminded me of the illusionist and the growing plant trick. If there is anything to take away is that Penn and teller are truly worth it and are magnificent humans for taking the time after expending so much energy on a show. Thank you so much.

We attended the Penn and Teller show at the Rio last night. I don't want to disrespect these two who clearly have been highly ranked performers for many years. However their show was not interesting or entertaining. It was long on talking (loud talking) from Penn, and short on magic tricks. Many of the tricks were number-based tricks (remembering how many cards into a pack of card a given card was) and these were boring. I had seen Penn and Teller five or ten years ago and it was a moderately good show then. Other than some good sleight-of-hand by Teller, last night's show was far worse than the last time we saw them. I believe they are not at the top of their game any more. Again, I don't want to be mean and leave a bad review, but at the same time, we spent a fair bit of money on tickets that we don't feel were worth it. Probably best to see performers who are younger and hungrier.

I went to see Penn & Teller on May 11th and let me say, my expectations were exceeded by a mile... ok, maybe 20 miles. This was my first time seeing them in person. From where I was sitting (second row) I was able to see everything up close. The only con about the seating; the seats were a bit too small for my frame. I should get on the treadmill more! :D Once at the venue, I ordered the "Straightjacket Lemonade" and booooy this was tasty! I wanted to get the 32oz version, which comes in a collectable glass, but they were out. Bummer! The bartender apologized and said they had them on order but they hadn't showed up yet. Everyone at the theater was very nice and peasant, from the greeters to the bartenders. You can tell they love their job. With 22 years under their belts at the Rio, P&T don't show any signs of slowing down and their wit/comedy is still top shelf. I was a little concerned based on recent'ish reviews on here but believe me, as a long time P&T fan, you wont be disappointed! To the P&T Team and P&T themselves, thank you! Thanks for making the show the highlight of my trip!

My husband had wanted to see Penn and Teller for years so when we came to Vegas on a holiday, their show was a must. I don’t know what some of the other reviewers watched because the show was incredible from beginning to end. Teller did his famous goldfish trick which was incredible to see live and there were some other highlights throughout the evening. If you’re a fan of the duo, definitely worth taking time to go and see this show!
