I was really interested in the new Permaculture tour in Pokhara as I have always been curious about organic farming and methods for success. I was so happy to meet Prem and spend time learning about the research he has done on the farm to determine the best methods for growing. He is so enthusiastic and truly cares about what he does. It was very inspiring! I was lucky to also meet several of the professors and students who are using the farm as a model for other farms throughout Nepal. What a great day of learning, eating, and discussing what Nepal needs and how organic farming can truly change farming and agriculture throughout the country. Not only would I highly recommend this tour but I told Prem I would gladly spend a few weeks volunteering at the farm and helping to spread the word of organic farming. Can't wait to visit again!
