Depart from Puerto Montt heading towards Puerto Varas, also known as the 'City of Roses'. The bus stops here to collect more passengers. Continue along the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue with wonderful views of the Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes. Enter the Petrohue National Park where there is a stop to visit the Petrohue Waterfalls where the icy green waters from the Esmeralda lake flow over a lip of volcanic rock.
Continue on the All Saint's Lake, also known as Esmeralda Lake and the pier which is the departure point for the catamaran which travels to Peulla, a tiny hamlet on the other side of the lake. On the way enjoy views of the Osorno Volcano, Mount Puntiagudo and Mount Tronador. The sailing takes almost two hours.
In Peulla there is enough time for lunch and a short walk, maybe to the nearby waterfalls or along the shores of the lake before returning by catamaran and bus to Puerto Montt.
