  • Great way to see the city Eastern state penitentiary was the best stop

  • Excellent tour, both guides were very knowledgable

  • Excellent.

  • Was ok.

  • We enjoyed seeing the city from the top of their double decker bus. We appreciated the information shared by the tour guides. We went on two separate days and learned something new each day. The guides provide their own unique value. It is a good over view when you first arrive.

  • Our tour guide was amazing - her amusing anecdotes and stories attested to her great depth of knowledge about Philadelphia. Her personal stories were particularly interesting. Our only constructive feedback was that it didn't always run on time, which made things a bit hard when the weather was frigid.

  • Best way to see the city as it takes you past all the highlights. We do the entire loop and then get off at the points we want to see most. Great view from the top of a bus.

  • Great value for money and tour guides really good. Great way to see Philadelphia if you have a short stay.

  • We bought a 2-day pass for Sunday and Monday. On Sunday we waited an hour for a bus in the middle of the day, then finally called Big Bus to learn that it was a holiday and because of a parade the tour was called off. We were never notified by them or Viator.
On Monday we waited an hour at stop 18 before it came at 10:30 am. Their brochure says intervals are 20-30 minutes starting at 9:30.
We had two different buses, each with a different tour guide who spoke in a microphone. Because they both spoke so rapidly and ran their words together, we had trouble understanding them.

  • An argument took place between a young man and the female tour guide. It was quite loud and unpleasant.
She refused to continue as our guide unless he got off the bus. He did. Otherwise the tour was fine.
