In just one extraordinary day, experience three of Victorias top wildlife attractions: Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you can handfeed cute wallabies; The nobbies and Seal Rocks, with Australia's largest colony of fur seals; and the nightly Penguin Parade, where little penguins pop out of the water and waddle across the beach to their burrows.
At the Nobbies and Seal Rocks, the clifftop boardwalk opens up breathtaking views of Phillip Islands wild south coast, and there are further lookout points among natural sea bird gardens which have spectacular flowering displays in spring.
Then witness Victorias largest colony of little penguins in the nightly Penguin Parade. As dusk falls, hundreds of little penguins splash out of the water on to the beach, making their way to their burrows. They feed at sea, and return to their burrows to mate, care for their young and to moult.

The trip to Phillip Island to see the Penguin Parade was one of the highlights of our trip to Melbourne. We stopped at the Moonlit Sanctuary to see kangaroos, wallabies, wombats etc on the way to Phillip Island and our guide Sherif was wonderful - very knowledgeable about all the animals and great company. The penguins were amazing - so cool to see (and hear!) hundreds of them on their way home after their time at sea!

Have watched the parade 4 times over many years. Never gets old. It is so wonderful to see the little once running to their homes. Took my grandkids for the first time. Boy did they have fun. 😀 We will do it again and again and again. Staff was super friendly as always. 😀

We had an excellent day with Daniel T as our tour guide. We visited Moonlit Sanctuary feeding the kangaroos which was great we then went to the beach and looked for penguins before going to penguin parade. Daniel T was knowledgable, fun and the whole day was very well organised.

We opted for the ranger guided tour for the penguin parade. We didn’t realize all the other activities. We stopped at the Moonlit Sanctuary for an our and had time to see Australian animals up close. We then went to the Nobbies, for beautiful scenery and a stop in Cowes for dinner. I would have liked a little more time at the Penguin parade as the gift shop was very nice but no time to shop. We met our ranger and in a small group of 8 she equipped us with binoculars and headset and guided us to great seats. We saw hundreds of penguins come out of the water and later followed along the path they were taking. It was great. I do not believe the general admission folks could see what we saw, they were too far away. It was definitely worth the premium. Our guide Paul who drove us was also excellent. The only disappointment was no photos allowed.

We had an excellent day trip out to the Moonlit Sanctuary and Phillip Island to visit the Nobbies and of course attend the penguin parade. Yes, you do spend a lot of time on the bus, but part of the appeal of this trip was all the included transportation - we did not rent a car and would not have been able to see these amazing sights without a tour operator. Our guide, Kurn, was funny and knowledgeable and as it was an unintentionally small group, it was a much more intimate experience than I expected for the cost. I would have loved to have spent more time at each stop, but we simply wouldn't have been able to fit in all the different activities if we spent more time at each location. This was the best way to see all the various sights, and I am so grateful to have found Bunyip. Thank you!

Seeing the parade of Penguins is a worthwhile tourist experience. We did not realize the afternoon tour would stretch to midnight. One has to be at the Island sight at night to see them. After we did the tour, we were informed by our hotel staff that one could see Penguins on a local beach without charge. The tour would have been better and would not have taken so long if it just had the Penguin parade. The animal park we stopped at was low end and not as nice as many others. The tour director was both caring and a nervous wellie. He made us think that we would not have time to stop for dinner which led us to order poor quality food at the park. We thereafter went to a small town where we had plenty of time to order food from a variety of restaurants. Keep in mind that the initial tour advertised has upgrades giving better locations for viewing. They are worth while, but one needs to arrive early for good placement.

Superbe excursion ! Refuge Moonlit nous permet de voir de très près les koalas, les wallabys et les kangourous. Parade des pingouins est magique. Prenez le forfait PLUS, ça vaut vraiment la peine. Guide Dan C. est un excellent guide!

We took this tour and loved every minute. We got to feed the kangeroos at the moonlit wildlife santury first and then drive down to Phillip Island, taking in the scenery on the way. We were late in the season for the penguins, but they did not dissappoint, it's a lovely sight.
