See the worlds largest collection of captive pileated gibbons, as well as Malaysian sun bears, Siamese crocodiles, and more. What to ExpectSpend the day with the rare wildlife of Phnom Tamao, Cambodias foremost rescue center. Located just 45 minutes southeast of Phnom Penh, Phnom Tamao occupies 1,200 hectares and is home to the worlds largest collection of pileated gibbons and Malaysian sun bears.
Other rare species you will see include greater adjutant storks. A large number of the animals are from endangered species, and many have been rescued out of the hands of poachers or from being held as pets. Meet the local caretaker for a tour of the park and learn about the centers work.
