Our tour guide was so personable and relaxed with us. EXTRA BONUS: We encountered a comic-con in Lucca the day of our trip! What a great chance to watch the locals celebrate something so fun! I definitely encourage the semi-independent tour, as it gives you more time to assimilate into the local scene and absorb more of the details that are important to you.
The tour was really informative. Our guides during the tour were really friendly and knew a lot about the places. Every where we stopped the time spent at one place was just enough not too long or short. I would definately recommed this tour for everyone!
I loved the tour guide on the bus and the tour guide for Pisa tower, she was amazing and very charismatic. I totally disliked the tour guide for Lucca, he ran through the town and was very boring eventhough Lucca is very beautiful. This was the general comment from other group members of the tour who I spoke with.
