Know More about this tour
Crosstown Pizza Walking Tour (Little Italy and Greenwich Village)
Visit Manhattans famous Little Italy, which the majority of Italian immigrants called home in the early 1900s. See the streets that once overflowed with peddlers and fruit carts and where a peasants meal called pizza made its debut in America. Visit Americas oldest pizzeria, and admire the sights of these two lovely neighborhoods as you walk.
Greenwich Village Pizza Walking Tour (North Village or South Village)
Discover the evolution of pizza from its humble origins in Southern Italy to its cheesy transformation in Americas industrial cities. This Manhattan district was once a thriving Little Italy and is currently in the middle of a resurgence, with new shops being opened by recent Italian immigrants. Visit pizzerias that each specialize in a different type of pizza types that symbolize its development from a lowly Neapolitan street food to a celebrated American staple.
Lower East Side Pizza Walking Tour (Lower East Side of Manhattan)
If you love pizza, welcome to one of the most pizza-dense neighborhoods, the Lower East Side. Everything from classic pizza-by-the-slice, old-fashioned Neapolitan fare to creative spins on this eponymous dish, this neighborhood has it all. Taste and discover its rich history. Learn about ancient pizza toppings and dough stretching techniques and compare the baking patterns of three different pizza ovens. This tour is for true pizza aficionados.
On your tour, you'll visit three of the following pizzerias:
Lombardis, Joes Pizza, Louie & Ernies, Rizzos, Keste, Nunzios, Sams Restaurant, Johns of Bleecker St, Best Pizza, Patsys, Totonnos, Luzzos, Arturos, Sacs Place, NY Pizza Suprema, Pizza Roma, J&V Pizzeria, Bens of Soho, Zero Otto Nove, Pizza Box, Rose & Joes Italian Bakery, Parisi Bakery, Pugsleys, Pala, Via Tribunali, Williamsburg Pizza or Two Boots

This was SO fun!!! I highly recommend! All of the pizza was amazing and we even got a pizza journal to document everything. :) Great for adults and kids.
Amy was great! She was very nice and knew everything about pizza. The tour was very succesfull. Thank you
David did a great job he was full of personality and information..... we would have liked to eat more pizza for the prize... overall good experience
Enjoyed going to Keste, John's, & Fiores but the first 2 are across the street from each other. This isn't really a "walking" tour. You'll get only few fitbit steps. The guide was friendly & knowledgeable and there was a table waiting for us at the popular John's. The history of pizza & info was good but for the per person price there should be more VIP perks/tastings etc.
I found out about Scott's pizza tours on Instagram a few years ago and I've wanted to go on one ever since. It was our first visit to New York (all the way from Scotland) so we decided to do the East village tour and it did not disappoint! Our guide Amy was brilliant, super knowledgeable and friendly. We visited three pizza places, all different and uniquely delicious. I would definitely recommend to pizza fanatics like myself and my sister!
My husband and I took our 2 teen daughters on the Greenwich walking tour and we all loved it. Our guide Peter was very knowledgable and super friendly. The pizza was delicious and the presentation is really interesting. If you are looking for an NYC activity that everyone in the family will love, this is a good one!
Great tour. Our guide, Cedric, was extremely friendly and full of knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it.
Our guide was fantastic and the tour across the three pizza locations was great and full of fun knowledge. I do wish we could have packed one more location in the tour, and it was a shame that two of the three locations had limited to no seating available for the tour, but otherwise it was definitely a fun experience!
At first I thought this was a lot of money to pay for a tour for just 3 slices per person but it was truly a great tour! I loved our guide David - super fun and incredibly welcoming as soon as we walked into the first stop. Highly highly recommend!!!! For sure ask for David.
Saturday was a beautiful day to be in NYC but what made it even better was the tour we took with Scott's Pizza Tours. Our guide Pete made our experience fun. He was witty and gave us lots of information about pizza - the different types of ovens, the dough, even a little demo. All three pizza locations greeted us warmly and served the most delicious pizza. I would recommend this as something to do while visiting the big apple.
