Overview

You fancy an introduction to Athens off-the-beaten-tracks? Lets have a local insight with this experience, to better understand this city, its history and its present, with an original route through quiet streets and a panoramic view over Athens!

Our moment together will be structured around two main moments. We will meet on the bustling Monastiraki square and ascend the Philopappou hill, a heaven of tranquility in the heart of the metropolis which offers magnificent perspectives on the Acropolis and a panoramic view. Then, we will head to the upper part of Plaka, the old neighborhood of Athens, to wander in its small streets and out the beaten paths spots.

NB: this experience has no particular difficulty (including Philopappou hill) but the capacity to walk for 2:30 to 3 hours (with stairs though). Its possible with children.

Note as well that this experience is not focused on archeology nor antique history and that we will not enter any site.

Clement was friendly and knowlegeable. He took us whre we could experience panoramoc views of whole Athens and all its major sites. We visited the less touristy part of Plaka. very recommended.

A faire absolument !)
