After pickup from your Hobart hotel travel to the beautiful historic village of Richmond famous for its colonial architecture. The stone buildings now house teashops, galleries, craft shops and museums. You'll also see Richmond Bridge, Australia's oldest.
Continue to the Tasman Peninsula, stopping to enjoy the view from Pirates Bay Lookout. A stop is also made in Doo Town, a quaint seaside village famous for its quirky house names. From here, gaze out over Tasman Arch, one of the many unusual rock formations found in the Tasman National Park, and see whats cooking at Devil's Kitchen. This is some of Australia's most stunning coastal scenery. Take a walk to Waterfall Bay to enjoy spectacular views from the clifftops.
The highlight of the day is the opportunity to check out Tasmanias convict heritage at Port Arthur. Theres no rush with plenty of time to see the sights on a guided walking tour and harbour cruise. Hear about the harsh conditions that the earliest European residents of Tasmania experienced after being sent across the world.
Before returning to Hobart, a stop is at Federation Chocolate Factory to taste delicious hand-made chocolates a very sweet end to a great day of exploring some of Tasmania most beautiful rugged scenery and fascinating convict history.

Had a fantastic day out with our driver Mark. His knowledge, his personality helped make the trip a very interesting one and certainly kept us all awake. Could not fault the day and well worth the cost
-
Great day although not really long enough at Port Arthur, felt a bit rushed as there is so much to see. Peninsula stops were fantastic

Bus driver Rob helped to make the day as enjoyable as it was. Stopped at a few places along the way such as Richmond which was scenic and needed to have the camera ready. Great bakery there too. Spent four hours at Port Arthur, and needed every minute to try and see or read as much as you could. The ferry ride which was included in the package was enjoyable and allowed some time to sit before heading back on land to visit more buildings. Stopping at a chocolate place on the way back to Hobart was a treat. The bus was a small 12 seater, but with regular stops, it didn't feel too cramped. Great group of people from many different places on the bus which made the trip more enjoyable and fun.

Good tour. The guide was very relaxed, which was nice but also annoying when some people on the tour took too long at each stop. It meant the day was longer than expected. We had more time than we needed at Port Arthur, but it is definitely worth seeing. Richmond is a cute town too.

Honestly there wasn't a lot of info given by the tour driver ... considering that all I really wanted was transport to Port Arthur and to wander there on my own, that was okay, but then they tried cutting the time there short because some of the others in the group were bored. Not cool. The stop in Richmond could have been much better - it was a 10 minute walk to go take photos of a bridge and bathroom/coffee shop break. Didn't even bother commenting on the old jail that would have been interesting to visit, or give any proper time to wander through town - even a 30 minute free-for-all stop would have been better.

A really enjoyable day tour. Tour guide was very informative and friendly. My only complaint was not enough time spent exploring Richmond. I enjoyed Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula.

This tour was amazing!

I was here in November and though I am an older lady, I ended up in a group with all youth. The guide and driver, a young man named Chris, was wonderful. I don't speak English very well and had trouble keeping up. He was very attentive to me, repeating interesting information, making sure I didn't go the wrong way, and making sure I was comfortable. He made an otherwise difficult trip very fun.

I have already sent a review but I'll give it again ,It was a great experience and very informative , unfortunately I can't recall my tour guild's name but it started with S she did a great job and she was a very competent driver I am not your usual client as I am 76 but being with 9 or 10 young backpackers was great for me and don't think I spoil t for them.

Everything was in a rush. We did visited all the places listed but there was no time to fully appreciate the scenery.
Everyone had to cramped in a small van with malfunctioning a/c when the weather was sizzling hot. and there were only 2 windows in the front
The tour guide was friendly enough but could've provided more information and background on the places we visited. The pickup time was inaccurate so we had to wait for 30 mins. And we started the tour late because there were people from different locations to pick up.
